Hey guys, I'm looking into a college laptop (that will also be used for gaming) and have stumbled upon the MSI brand. After browsing for a little, I narrowed it down to the GT70 and the GE70. The price difference isn't really an issue, but if the performance difference is not that huge then I will get the cheaper option (GE70). I want it to run games like Skyim, Assassins Creed 3, Sims 3, etc. with a decently high performance. I'm also open to any other recommendations from MSI or other brands (under $2000 please). Thanks!

MSI is good enough, I have a radeon 7970 from them and also a geforce 640 from them. Both are working well.

He's asking about MSI laptops, not MSI gfx cards. Being a good card maker doesn't automatically make you a good laptop assembler. Just sayin'.
