nothing...xfx is great, ive owned an xfx radeon 4770 before and that was when they offered life time warranty on their graphics cards. Nowadays they only give you 2 years warranty, but their quality is still great.

I'd say just clock your 7850 and wait for the new cards, unless you really need the extra performance right now.

This ^^

New series is out in Q1

However if you really do need to buy this (and selling to your mate for 175 is really good) then i would buy it from Scan, dabs or Overclockers instead. Yes it is 20 pounds more ( http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3gb-xfx-radeon-hd-7950-double-d-black-ghost-hcell-5500mhz-gddr5-900mhz-1792-cores-hdmi-mini-dp ) but you get 3 x free games which i couldnt see on the amazon site, and secondly this is a proper PC part retailer, as you did notice the one you posted wasnt coming from Amazon themselves but a 3rd party?

A HD 7850

ClassicRockFTW

In response to your original question, NO.

Pls elaborate

Well first I have to ask the question, what games aren't being run well by the 7850? Although you do have a pretty good thing going being able to sell your 7850 for a very good return, I still believe that you will get more bang for your £50 if you wait for ATLEAST another gen of cards.

I just want a better card is all. No deep philosophy behind it.

DUDE ARE YOU CRAZY?

A hd 7850 is good enough to run modern games at ultra.

Wait until next gen and then upgrade

Well, the reason people usually get better cards is if their old one isn't getting the job done any more... This just kinda seems like a waste of time and money. But that's just my opinion, and I believe you were asking for opinions in the first post.
