You must beat him... at a board game. Chess, Monopoly, Checkers, the choice is yours. If you fail, your life is forfeit. If you win, death will not only spare you, he will allow your life to last as long as you wish. And if you draw, you don't get the immortality but you aren't killed either. Monopoly. The pink and orange properties are great value for money. Easy to put houses and hotels on quickly.

Simple: the Twenty Penny game. You set down twenty pennies on a table and you can only take up to three pennies at a time. Whoever takes the last penny or pennies off the board wins.

I doubt Death would be very happy if he were suckered into playing this game...
