If she is in that position because she can't get a job, then that's fine, but if she is just refusing to get one, then no.

EDIT: Actually, forget that. It doesn't bother me too much. I'd date her, but I'd hope she is planning to do something with her life.

she didn't have a job and wasn't attending college?

Hopkins_J
Yes. Even going to College dose not guarantee a job. Financial security is important but there are other things in life that are just as important. Sadly Jobs are hard to come by nowadays and keeping one is just as hard. :(

Maybe. It depends if she is like that because she wants to do nothing of her life of if she is just in a "moment

Date...NO
****...YESrawsavon
This, unless her reasons did not have to do with lethargy. If she wants to better herself, then I'll gladly help her on her journey. I would date as well as **** her if that is the case.

Sure, if she was bright and we were compatible. I earn enough on my own. However, most bright gals with whom I'd be compatible - including my current significant other - do end up attending college, so it's sort of a moot point.

Evil_Saluki

I would date a guy in this situation.. I'm kind of in it myself, so I'm hardly one to judge. As long as he didn't sponge off of me. It can be hard to find employment these days, especially if you don't have experience... as I have learnt.

Is she attending some sort of trade school or something. If I am going to date someone she needs to have goals, realistic, of some sort - and none of that "I want to be a fashion designer" crap. No offense, but that isn't my thing. But, like Raw, I would **** the **** out of that girl if it helped to passed the time before I found someone I wanted to date.

hmm . . . maybe. If she was actively pursuing a job then I probably would date her. However if she is a jobless, gold digging whore then thats a problem for me.

if she was motivated and seemed like she had the passion to want and do bigger things in her life I don't see why not :P

We've all been down and out before, stuff happens and people can't always slip into college and just find a job with no struggle. I wouldn't hold it against anyone lol

No. I believe women should be independent and that means being able to provide for themselves through a job and at least a bachelor's degree.

I could see that work. I'd be skeptical but yeah under some circumstances I could see that happen.

lol I have been for a while now. It's more important to me that she is working towards a better future rather than focusing on getting as much money as she possibly can in the here and now.

edit oh never mind I thought you said, "and was attending college."

actually probably not. I'd at least have to understand that she had some sort of plan to better herself.

Completely depends. Does she want to go eventually? Is she my type? Is she pursuing some other profession such as art or music (not technically a job in many cases?). There's a lot of different situations...
