How does Obama subscribe to Marxism at all? Marxism = the idea that the proletariat revolt in violent revolution against the government and middle-class to seize the means of production as well as establish a democracy in which every person has an equal say in all facets of government.

South ParkThe Republicans (and all other protesters of the health care bill, since it's not JUST Republicans) aren't trying to steal health care from the American people, their reasons for protesting/objecting to it are more about wasteful spending and the potential negative ramifications of the bill being passed. Jobs could be lost, the US govt could go even further into debt, and there could be quite a bit of damage to employees in the healthcare industry. Again, these aren't guaranteed consequences, but potential problems that could result from the bill.
Why do the Democrats keep writing checks they nor anyone else can cash? The Dems are stealing alot more from the people then the Republicans are. The Repubs haven't excatly always been fiscally prudent, but the Dems take that as an excuse to be twice as bad.

Yes, the GOP is suing the government to eliminate healthcare. Since you are so well informed, I don't see how I could counter your argument. And why aren't they stopping them or atleast trying to... Obama can only do so much as can the democrats how come not more Americans try to help?

hold on if obama isnt using dirty tactics then you are blind, no offense but the way he has tried to rush this bill through the senate before christmas was ridiculous. All politicians use dirty politics it seems you are ignorant of the way politics are played.

you do realize that we have healthcare already right? this isnt like republicans are opposed to the idea of healthcare its just that they dont want to pay for somebody who is living off of unemployment and basically being a burden to society.those elected republicans get much donations from the pharmaceutical and health insurance companies...so they are gonna be favorable to them.. weezyfb
Also not everyone who uninsured is unemployed some arent the rich people and cant afford health care to guy who said they living on unemployement
still, I work hard for myself so that I can afford health insurance. I thinks its at least understandable that I would be slightly upset to have to pay for other people's insurance too. Is it the most giving attitude in the world, no i guess not. but thats how a majority of those opposed to this bill feel. And i think its totally understandable

we are not kicking them in the face. We are opposed to people leeching off the system, which many people already do leech off the system we have in place now. Its not wrong to not want to help somebody that is just lazy and rather play the system then work.
I wont have two if we all would stop argueing and donate a little through taxes to help but people want their every last penny or whatever and I consider lives more im portant than money.uh, ok so hey if you feel that way feel free to send a majority (thats more than half, just so you understand) every single paycheck into a system that you will most likely never benefit from. tell me how that goes for you

umm plz explain how we can give them tax money when we are already donating our money to Social security, welfare, and other social services and now we get to pay for this to.
[QUOTE="montieman"]I wont have two if we all would stop argueing and donate a little through taxes to help but people want their every last penny or whatever and I consider lives more im portant than money. uh no. this is a trillion dollar plan. I dont think you really understand how much this is going to cost americans because i can assure you it wont be "donating a little". Plus doctors will make exponentially less money, which is wrong. They deserve to get paid as much as they do for the jobs that they do.uh, ok so hey if you feel that way feel free to send a majority (thats more than half, just so you understand) every single paycheck into a system that you will most likely never benefit from. tell me how that goes for you

Because nobody wants to pay for crap thats not their fault. Why should I have to pay for health insurance for someone that smokes? That's their own fault.

I dont mean take it for themselves they are taking the money so the rich get richer philosophy and who do you think their famous tax cuts are for? The rich benifit the most from them because tax money goes to government programs.
In systems that work.oh, so you want the rich to be taxed and the money to be givin to the poor? hmm distributing wealth, where have i heard that one before?
montieman
To the TC. Do you have a job at this current time. After reading all of your remarks to peoples comments that seems like they would have a job, you're kind of coming off as a person who would just throw money at a problem and wouldn't care where it's coming from. I pay for my own insurance as well school along with supporting myself.
Oh btw I'm a democrat.....

Eh, the rich pay most of the taxes to begin with. I don't know how exactly the tax cut rebates and percentage of taxes payed by them correlate, but I'd bet that they're similar. If their not, I am not going to try to defend them then. Regardless, the entire issue is completely unrelated.
We are discussing health care. How are the Republicans stealing it from them? I don't believe that people have the inherent entitlement to health insurance by virtue of existence. If people provide it for themselves or are helped by another party by their own voluntary action, fine. What the Republicans are doing is not tantamount to stealing. In point of fact it may prevent what in my perspective is essentially theft. (see the individual mandate)
