The Marines are part of the Navy.FragStainsno your thinking of the Navy S.E.A.L.s. Yeah, and the U.S. Navy is under jurisdiction of the Department of the Navy, too. They're different branches of the armed forces, though.
[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]I'm sure everyone in here is well educated on the armed forces. No service is more "brave" than another. Army!-911-Weren't you in the service LJS? Yep....the one I picked.
Yeah, and the U.S. Navy is under jurisdiction of the Department of the Navy, too. They're different branches of the armed forces, though.Dark__LinkNo...the Marines do, in fact, belong to the Navy. Of course, the Navy would be the Department of the Navy. That....uh...goes without saying.

what is the difference between the four, except the coastguard, i like them the least, they watch out for smugglers, that itNaked-SnakeGo research them. The CG does a lot more than 'watch out for smugglers'.

Easily checked out and not worth arguing against. Read the first paragraph

Read the first paragraph alright so in writing they are under the Department of the Navy but as far as i know dont they atleast operate as a separate branch
