I have been working doing low-end jobs for about 2 years, fast food to be exact. I graduate in 5 monthes and my parents will help me out with some money. Together i have 31,000 dollars. I want to either go with the honda accord coupe V6 auto, OR the 370z auto with paddle shfiters. They're both 31,000 bucks roughly, thing is the accord is fully loaded (leather, navi, heated seats, sunroof, and all) The 370z has nothing in terms of luxury (cloth seats, 4 speakers, no navi.) the accord is a v6 270 hp and the 370z has 330 hp so it's faster. I live in the city, new york city Queens. This has been a very hard decision for me to make, which one would you guys think is best for me?

Luxury. You can't legally go the top speed of many cars now, so I don't see the point in having the fastest car or fastesttruck.

Luxury, simply because what do you really need speed for? With all the speed limits, unless you plan on driving the Autobahn every day, then i'd go for speed. Otherwise, comfort works best.

Luxury. Most luxury cars have more power than you will ever need on the road anyway.

EDIT: But I wouldn't buy either of those.

Get a G37 Coupe.

They're about 32K after the destination charge.

Who cares what kind of luxery your car has, just look at the two cars.A Honda Accord.....ummm,isn't that like a family car?A 370z.......a luxery car in itself, you don't even need the leather seats or sunroof, the Accord is still considered less luxurious than the Nissan.

Don't need high speed in Queens, dude: I've been there.:)

Get the luxury-loaded car. If you do, make sure your insurance knows what all is inside so it will be covered.

if you like ugly cars then yes they are better...they're not even the best fuel-efficient cars anymore..so really how are they better...Japanees cars are last on my list..really who cares tho..it's pointless to argue personal opinions...but here's a car for the TC....(even from Japan)

The Nissan Skyline GT-R in the R34 generation.just so happens to be listed at $31,000....(Skyline GT-R) better than the Z

Yeah, but a Skyline has to be imported and made legal in the US. Unless you pay for one already here, which you will be forking out some change.

Edit: Also forgot to mention if you are going to be buying a car in New York City you better not buy a new one or anything that looks sporty like the 350Z. Cars like those tend to get stolen fast there.

If you're dead set on automatic, go with the Honda. An automatic 370z is just a waste, and you will be made fun of my motorheads for purchasing one.

For sure, it's a chick car, like a VW Eos. If you're going to be spending hours in traffic every week and had to choose between these two, then I'd say go for comfort a Honda is a Honda, if you are single and young, I'd say go for the Z. Someone also mentioned a used M3, look into the E46 body style, luxury and speed all rolled into one. Also look into the new Ford Taurus SHO, 365 hp 3.5L twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, with AWD, starts at $28.5K.

With most cars, if you pay for one you get the other too. I can't think of many luxury cars that aren't built to go fast, and vice versa.

Neither.

31,000 on a new car.. right now is a terrible investment.. the technology isnt there.. do you really want to be dependant on gas? Continue to save your money.. and buy something for like 200. I'd really wait 5-10 years because putting down 31k on a vehicle.

\ because it makes you look badass... its the number one sign of immaturity to make decisions based on how it makes you look.
