I still listen to them, I've seen Maiden twice and Judas Priest as well, and Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio twice.

AC/DC on the other hand...

I got bored with them. But can you blame me?

I'm going to say it since no one else will because everyone has this unexplainable hate for them or feels like if they admit it they are posers


Slipknot.

AC/DC turned me into a rock fan in general when i was about 8 years old. Disturbed just introduced me into heavier stuff.

i enjoy me some slipknot every now and then. i like about 6 or 7 of their songs.

Well, for me i'm more into the older kind of rock. I started listening first to ac/dc then ozzyRedBlackGuy

Sadly...the usual crappy nu-metal bands...Disturbed, Slipknot, etc...:( Thankfully, that lasted all of a month before getting into some REAL metal (Nemesis by Arch Enemy being the first none Nu-Metal song I liked:P)Darth-Caedus

Metallica, although I am not into metal much.

I listened mostly to post-grunge radio rock and post-hardcore punk prior to me finding In Flames and Wintersun. Those two got me straight into melodic death metal, completely bypassing the '70s and '80s bands. Since then I've branched off into the more extreme subgenres of metal.

Some of the older bands; Deep Purple, Led Zepplin, Queen, and the like.

None. I hate metal.

Metallica, Megadeth, Maiden. The 3 M's. I've changed genres now though.:P

Dragonforce. A friend gave me 2 of their CD's to listen to, and at the time, I thought they were awesome. A few months later, I tried Opeth from a random suggestion in a thread here, and they've been one of my favorite bands since.

Destroy the Runner
