5th or 6th grade. I was luckily close enough to walk. Now my mom drives me there in the morning because it's close to where she works downtown, but I have to take a centro bus back.

Kindergarten, but I would never suggest anyone do that these days. Too dangerous. But then, I was called the N word while walking don the street by age 7, so maybe it was never a good idea...

I think something like 4th or 5th grade. There were a bunch of backroads/trails to get to grade school by on our bikes through the woods and fields that we only had to cross 1 street to get to school so it was not as a big of a deal.

I live right next to the elementary school I attended, so I walked myself there at that time. Now I take the school bus to high school because I don't have the money for a car.
