Wolverine (director's cut) > X2 > First Class > X-Men >>> The Last Stand >>>>>>> X-Men Origins is how I'd rank them.

Xmen 2 and First Class are the best in the series in my eyes.

Origins and Last Stand are the worst. Although admittedly, I still enjoyed both regardless.

I like the first 2/3 of Wolverine, it had the potential to be the best but the ending was fucking terrible. Really bad.

Wolverine (directors cut) ... was something new included in it ?

A couple new scenes, some extended scenes (the battles vs. the ninjas is MUCH longer with one really bloody and awesome set piece added) plus more swearing. It is pretty much an R rated version of the film.

Sad that the ninja battle wasn't included in the final cut. I was real looking froward in watching Wolverine tear up ninjas in the theaters. But only left with disappointment when the ninja battle lasted for less than 5 mins.

X-men 2 and X-men First Class. The other released movies are poorly crafted. I hope Days of Future Past will give me hope that the rest of the X-men can be great.

I Think X2 was the one that made me really get into the X-Men movies...my biggest disappointment was The Wolverine.

I wished Matthew Vaughn ( Who directed First Class ) had directed Days of Future Past. They even removed Magneto theme from this movie. Same old boring Bryan Singer directing it again :(

I don't keep up with directors and the movies they make, so I don't have a full opinion on Singer or Vaughn. But the thing I will admit is that X-men has everything it needs to succeed. It has a triple-A budget backing it and a perfect set of cast members. Even after all these things, most of the movies are just not great. Maybe it's the director, maybe it's the writer. I dunno know, but I just hope days of future past turns out well. I want another good X-men movie. I real do.

X1, X2, Wolverine, and First Class are all good, hard to rank them. X3 and Origins both suck.

X2 was the best, Origins Wolverine was trash. Anything with a Black Pee Eye in it is an automatic fail.

Best: XMen: First Class
Worst (tie): X-Men: The Last Stand (2006); X-Men Origins: The Wolverine (2009)
