Apparently Dish doesn't care about losing CNN and Cartoon Network and doesn't want to bring them back, and are thinking of dropping TBS and TNT too. The fact they're dropping 4 out of the 6 TV Channels I watch (other two being Comedy Central and AMC) makes me want to drop this provider.

What do you all have?

Comcast. Everywhere I've had them they've sucked except for some reason at my current apartment where I've had basically no problems. Needless to say I will probably never move :P

I've never met a cable provider I liked. Comcast, Mediacom, Insight.... They've all been terrible. I cut the cable in 2006 and only tolerate them at this point for internet access.

And just barely....

To expand on my cable cutting experience, I decided to throw the towel in when I lived in a Comcast area. I started out paying $40 a month for basic cable, and then every 2 months they would raise my rate by 2 to 5 bucks. I called to cancel after my rate had risen from $40 to $66 in less than a year, at which point they tried one last time to push one of their packages on me ("You can get cable, internet, and phone for just $90!").

I then managed to schedule an appointment to have them disconnect service and take their equipment back - Somewhere "between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm"

When they naturally didn't show up, I called them at which point they again tried to push the package onto me, so I drove to their nearest physical office the next day, gave my equipment to clerk, and informed them that no additional charges better appear on my bill.

And I've never looked back.

I have wow. Ok I have the cable package because my complex forces us to but I just have the most basic package and the Internet is decent enough in terms of actually getting what I pay for.

I've used COX, Time Warner, AT&T, Qwest and Comcast before. They all suck.

Though Comcast has best television service of the bunch, and Time Warner now has 300 megabits/sec bandwidths.

I'm in Canada and on Shaw. They're whatever. Overpriced for what you get, for sure. When I move into a new place I'm not getting cable, and I'm selling my PVR because I can watch almost anything on the internet. I'd rather pay what I'd pay in cable towards internet and get ridiculously fast internet than waste it on cable and get diddly nothing for my money.

For television, the family has Dish. They're thinking of taking it off soon and that's fine with me since I hardly ever watch television.

For internet, we have TWC. I hate it and so does my brother.

Dish. Usually pretty good, but if they drop TNT and TBS and don't pick up Cartoon Network again I may tell them to suck it.

I used to use Cox but after awhile I realized it wasn't worth it. They charged me $120 a month Internet and cable, so after realizing that the only time I actually watched cable was once a week with that I canceled my service and used my phone as a hotspot since my phone Internet is actually faster than my Cox plan. All of TV shows and movies I watch now are on Netflix, Hulu, and the WWE Network.

The place I lived at before where I live now I had Dish Network but my current place doesn't allow satellites.

I had Time Warner Cable in Upstate New York until August 2014. I considered their cable subscription as average, their tech support as below average, and their Internet ISP as meh. I never got past 27 Mbps download speeds ever.

I'm now with Cox Cable in Arizona. I consider their cable subscription as average although I got less channels compared to Time Warner. Tech support is excellent as is their Internet ISP. For the same price as Time Warner's, I get three times the bandwidth.

We still have cable (includes HBO and Starz) along with Netflix ($7.99 a month).

Canada and I'm on Rogers. We have everything on Rogers so my dad managed to snag sweet deals for everything. Only really watch sports and HBO on TV.

I have Xfinity (Comcast). Its system could use some improvements especially in regards to On-Demand and internet accessibility.

I have Time Warner and they suck. I really only use them for internet, but I have what they call Broadcast cable. It gives me a discount on my internet plan so basically the channels are free. If I dropped them my internet cost would go up and cost me basically the same per month.

I've had Comcast, and Cox in the past and they also suck. Cable Companies, like Electric, and Water companies are pretty much monopolies and don't care about customer service in the least.

When I had Time Warner in NY, there were occasions when cable reception would be slow as molasses. The Internet went down for maintenance every Sunday. Getting support via telephone or having one of their techs come over to check their boxes was almost impossible.

I'm not sure about Cox cable anywhere else. But Cox Cable where I am is excellent. Telephone support is great. When we had early issues with channels not showing up, they sent a tech over the following day when they couldn't fix the problem from their end. The tech looked the cable boxes over, saw the list of channels that came with my subscription, called up his home office, and voila, problems solved.

Dish for TV and I am very unhappy I don't get Cartoon Network anymore. That was my most watched channel. I called and they gave me 5 off for 3 months but that hardly makes up for it. They just upped the price by 5 bucks like a earlier this year.

My internet is through Armstrong cable, I had their TV service but it sucked and was expensive. I tried "cutting the cable" but they have data cap of 150gb and between my PC, console gaming/ downloads and streaming HD content I would go over every month.

I don't have cable too expensive, but I only have AT&T for Internet it's a great price and the Internet is fast, any other brand you are paying a lot more money for junk .
