What weird (uncommon) smells do you like?

Why am I asking this question? I heard it posted on the radio and thought it may be a good topic to see how people sense of smell differ.

I personally like the smell of ammonia. When ammonia is in a bucket to clean a floor I love the smell of it. I guess to me it means a clean environment.

What weird smell do you like?

You probably think im weird for likeing the smell of gasoline. I don't know why I do i just do :P and when i walk into a shoe storeand all the leather and plasticky shoessmell smells really good.

I like the smell of tar, gun powder and skunk... Yeah, I know, skunk shouldn't smell good, but for some reason I like it (it reminds me of summer).

I like the smell of my dog, especially that little spot between his eyes :)

Gasoline, new books (a smell I haven't been feeling much since I got my kindle :cry: ), new electronics, things that stay packed with cigarettes for a long while and pass them their smell, new magazines, nail polish, and a product used to clean floor which's name I forgot.

This isn't a smell, but I think this thread is a good place for this.

Do you remember the taste of water from a water gun when you were a kid? I loved that.

Some laundry detergents smell quite nice, the new car smell, the smell of smoke from a barebecue, and the new electronic and book smell

I love the smell of napalm early in the morning. Smells like victory. ;)

Definitely gasoline. Reminds me of the smell of airports, and I absolutely loved air travel when I was younger.

I imagine many people have weird smells they like because those smells are tied to particularly pleasurable memories.

Reading all the posts I forgot to mention Magic Markers. So to refine my responses in order of most favorite first its:

1. Ammonia
2. Magic Markers
3. Gasoline

My normal like is The tree's after the rain

My abnormal likes are GAS..Love that smell..Makes fueling the car a vacation >_>

Ok its settled why we are so dependant on Gas.
