Have you actually tried it ? because you can´t say you "hate" something that you haven´t tried.

Is it Sicilian food? I remember spending a few days at Sigonella and I was offered it at a local inn. The moment I saw something wriggling, I skipped it lest the rest of my dinner worked its way back up.

Some people really like the taste of it. Some of us, especially when it's raw (i.e. tuna and salmon). A good piece of raw tuna or salmon is so soft it's like eating butter.

I always hate it I woke up in the morning before school in the 80's, by my father's rifle ..... it means something fresh on the table, usually it's a squirell, kingfisher, monitor lizard, python and many more exotic meat. My father usually ask my maid to clean it and cook it because my mom is squirmish, the leftover usually reserve for my father's beer buddies he invite for a yucky dinner .... and he still do it till today.

Peas. I've hated them since childhood. I won't eat anything that has peas in it either. Lima beans ditto.

Beets. They have an ugly color and taste awful.

I used to love shrimp but developed an allergy.

Yeah, I've had fried meal worms before. Very crunchy. I don't feel like eating decomposing dairy product though.

My wife just made a vegetable goulash with chopped squash, string beans, okra, eggplant, and teeny weeny bits of pork. I can manage the string beans and eggplant. But, the squash and okra have a texture that just feels weird on the throat.

Yes, glad I'm not the only one that's not a big fan of pretty much any seafood. Saw you and several other users mention seafood so far. Down with seafood, especially tuna.

I actually don't think I've ever tried black licorice, I might have tried it on occasion when I was really young, and can't really remember if i did or not right now. But I get the feeling that I don't even need to try it, that I can tell its not gonna make it to my favorite candy list.

As a meal, biscuits and gravy. My dad used to make them all the time and I grew with a "you can't leave the table until your plate is clear" rule so I had to choke them down. In my teen years, I was up in the mountains helping to clear out new camp sites and one of the guys made the crew biscuits and gravy. Had to choke those down out of politeness. Grits are pretty terrible too, no matter what you eat them with.

I'm not a fan of most fruit tbh. Love my vegetables but just not fruit, I think it's the texture. Apples, bananas, oranges and dried fruit like raisins and apricots is all I can eat. Anything else has to go in a smoothie and then I tend to love it.

Of course there are oddities that I'd hate far more but these aren't things that are generally eaten in the UK so I'll skip them.

Not a lot really. I guess muscles I wouldn't eat and certain squidy things. Generally if I can mash something I don't like into something else and eat it without yacking I'll just get it down me though. Quite surprising really as all I'd eat until I was about 20 was meat, bread, cheese and potato.

I am a "taster", so I've been picky most my life. However I've forced myself to acquire most tastes via brute force. The only things I cannot force myself to like are raw onions and cottage cheese. For some reason no matter how much I eat those, they are not my friends.

Nothing really.

Barring certain "delicacies" in some countries, I'll eat just about anything if it can be made to taste good.
