so i just turned 18 and i'm still a virgin. i've finished school and i'm taking a year out. i feel sure if i went to college this year i'd have hooked up by now, i'm fairly decent with girls. not forgetting i come from ireland, where everyone is catholic, and even if they aren't religious, people tend to be less promiscous than somewhere like england, at least half of my 18 year old aqquaintances are also virgins.

so those are my excuses, which i think are pretty legitimate, what about you ot?

I think that's the best plan to have to be honest.

I wished it been with someone who I actually planned on having a long term relationship with, rather than someone I'd been with barely two months, and I'd have rather done it when I was older and more mature. There's way too much meaning attatched to losing your virginity in my opinion. I feel no different than I did when I was still a virgin.

My advice is to wait until you want to do it. There's no pressure to lose it as soon as you can.
