What accent do you find most annoying?

I have a very minimal Massachusetts accent, mostly because I was born there, but moved away when I was still young. Anyways, I still have trouble with words like "part" and "car," and because I now live in the southwest, people always look at me funny. :P

Which accents do you find most annoying?

Yeah, hopefully it doesn't though. I guess what I mean is which accent is hardest to understand.

Middle Eastern accents annoy me occasionally.

I'm not sure where it's from but I'm going to reffer to it as 5yr old on xbox live accent. You know the accent of the kid who should and screams down his headset at you about how he pwns n00bz then claims you're cheating when you beat himbraindead_hero

I know what an accent it, you seem to have misunderstood the post, all those kind of people have a certain accent, I'm not sure where it's from but it's annoying so I thought I'd describe the person. All I know is it's an irritating American accent

I like most accents, especially on women. I think they add personality to people or something.

The only accents I don't like on men are *heavy* chinese and indian accents.

I really don't understand this one, the only place in Canada where people have accents that cause them to pronounce about even remotely close to aboot is Newfoundland, and even there they don't really.

I have never heard anyone say that here. Not sure where that "rumour" came from.

My Grandma's accent, although I think its a combination of her voice and accent that really drives me crazy. I think she is originally from South Carolina.

Anyway, she says the name Bill like "Beel"...every word she says sounds...sour. Its hard to explain, but it drives everyone crazy. Well, my immediate family at least, we are the only ones that live west of the mississippi.
