Google Earth has compiled a photo gallery of mysterious images taken by satellite above our planet.

The bird's-eye photos include an "unidentified flying object" that appears to hover over a field, crop circles, concentric shapes etched into the earth, strange patterns, and advertising that can only be seen from the air.

Google Earth is a Google application that enables users to view landmarks, buildings and entire cities in satellite photos.

you do realise that the likelyhood of a alien ship being a round flying dish is incredibly low don't you, considering it started in movies.

if you see a picture of a round flying dish it's almost ccertain to be fake.

If it were a UFO; surely it should be flying to have that name given not parked up next to a road :P

Surely the shadow would be elongated if it was a cylindrical water/grain tower? From looking at the shadow it seems that if it is a tower then it must have a very thin supports underneath. The shadow seems to suggest it's not completely cylindrical.

It's probably shaped like this:

Either that or it's actually a real UFO and were all doomed to a life of slavery...

Why would there be a road leading to the middle of a field? It's a tower or another structure. Roads don't end in the middle of fields unless there's something there.

Water Tower:if itwas a water tower as many are claiming why no visible supports, if it was a water tower there would atleast some visible supports either under it or in the shadow. also notable is this appears to be a plain like region so they wouldnt need a water towerthey would most likely have well water.

Grain Silo: for it to be a silo then the shadow would reflectthat. the shadow would have straight sides connecting to beneath the object and would appear as a cylinder not a circle as is shown. ive also not seen a silo that big before.

Sattelite: ive never seen a sattelite dish so big nor have i seen one free standing so high up in the air. something that big would need some major supports and anti sway cables which i see none of.
