Music tends to get repetitive , you listen to a new album of some genre then you get bored of it then you listen to sth else hence the loop.
Now my questions is what's that special song you never get bored of listening to ?
Here's mine :
No matter how many times I listen to it, I always get tired of a song sooner or later (or at least lose a degree of enthusiasm).
Am a real sucker for Irish and Scandinavian folk tunes though, so I don't get bored of that particular sound at least.

Just about anything I listen to gets boring eventually, even if some songs take longer than others.
There's quite a few songs that I never get bored of hearing. Most of them are by Megadeth and Iron Maiden.
It doesn't have anything that sticks out too much so it never gets catchy or annoying. I love it's lyrics and it's got a positive message while still sounding dark and broody. I can never get enough of modern Dark Wave.
@Evil_Saluki: Saluki's cannot be evil...
They is good dogs. Actually pretty smart for a dog.
They are lovely dogs, the feathered Saluki is my favorite dog, they look beautiful. I never did own one. I used to draw them a lot, and I punked them up in my drawings. I think years ago I used it as my sig and I had this punky, spike collar Saluki as my sig when I made the account and so called it Evil_Saluki.
Mostly videogame music. VG soundtracks come with a lot of memories for me, also catchy tunes or full orchestras playing the most badass music ever. Actual songs tend to tire me out after a while, or I move on to another song and don't fixate on one in particular for long enough.
No joke, I think VG soundtracks are the best pieces of music being made currently.
(For the sake of honesty, I'm also going to mention the How To Train Your Dragon soundtracks and also most of The Lord of The Rings, though some of those tracks do tire me.)
There are lots of songs like that for me. One of the ways a song or band or album becomes a favorite of mine is if I still love listening to it after countless listens.
Some examples:
Sacramentum - Cries From a Restless Soul
Pearls Before Swine - Rocket Man
Septic Flesh - (Morpheus) the Dreamlord
Dead Kennedys - Holiday In Cambodia
Hawkwind - You Shouldn't Do That
Grateful Dead - Dark Star
Ramones - Poison Heart
When it comes to music, tastes are so diverse ...i haven't listened to like 95percent of the songs mentioned here

Yeah i love videogame soundtracks, it's not like i listen to them daily or sth tho
@Archangel3371: nice!!!
What you think of maidens new album ?
I haven't picked it up yet.
I don't get tired of listening to the same thing over and over. I'm really big on the emotions that music evokes and this song is the ultimate journey music. I've had this song playing in my car for a year, because it doesn't matter where I'm driving to, this song always makes it seem like an adventure.

Dope !
My favorite song from one of the most underrated Thrash bands of all time.
I approve of this post.
@LexLas: You should google that song and its lyrics. It is a strong contender for the greatest song about weed in my opinion.
I don't know if I could give you a certain song, but I could give you albums I never tire of. But there are tons of them. My current obsession is "Beauty Behind the Madness" by The Weeknd.
Never get bored of AC/DC,Ramones,Iron Maiden,Ozzy Osbourne,Buddy Holly,etc... I get bored quite easily from Metallica. There early albums are good, after .....And Justice For All,everything else is just shit.
I found this song on a crappy cable music channel and when I found some videos for it I like it even more. Gotta ignore his hair but it gets cool 55 seconds in, IMO.
'Back in Black' by AC/DC. Lots of songs lose their edge if you listen to them a lot; this one never does. :D
I love this song. It's an odd mix of classic rock and jazz, but Billy knocked it out of the park.

I approve of this post as well.
I never get bored with this song by Gracie Barrie ... song also feature in L.A Noire

Sleep is great. Stoner, fuzz metal is great.
Like you, I don't get tired of that genre at all. For starters, it's good background music for when you're doing stuff. Second, most of it just makes me feel badass lol, at least a little bit. Third, it's generally a mood booster for me.
I can't listen to happy music. Get that Jack Johnson shit away from me. Music should be emotionally purging; listening to music about wizards sitting on a throne of bones smoking magical herbs after a battle where they killed thousands....that mellows me out.
I use to love that song "Free Bird" until they ruined it for me at the end of that shitty Rob Zombie film "Devil's Rejects".

I admit videogame music can do it for me also, purely for the memories it brings back, especially if it's a game you got heavily into. They are not something I blare out in my car on a Friday night, but headphones while I study or drinking coffee in the morning while crap reading (like now). They are personal tracks.
And I agree, games have always had amazing talent focused on games music. They are not trying to reach out to a wide audience, just capture the spirit of the game and as a result we get these weird and wonderful bits of music.
One of my favorites (and a track I haven't got tired of hearing) has got to be from that game I seem to of praised a lot recently and pretty much became an advert for - Life is Strange. Although the game has a licensed hipster soundtrack that's reflective of the main character, my favorite tune has to be the games main theme, an acoustic track that always plays on the games most dramatic moments and during the end credits. Always reminds me why I liked that game so much, it's a pretty good chill out tune also. Like I said, it was made purely to capture the mood of the game and that makes it unique.
I'm gonna start listening to the songs mentioned here, let's find me some good bands and singers !
@Evil_Saluki:That was amazing, another reason for me to give the game a try.

Why would you hate it if it gets used in another media?
The Dark Knight theme was used in a salt ad and i was like "wtf?" :D , but i still love it.
