1>2. Haven't seen the third one. Does it capture that unique feeling the first two movies had? Or is it too "modern" and will only please because of my nostalgia for the old movies? Either way I should watch it I guess.
It still delivers that message/concept about nothing last forever.
I think Toy Story 1 is still my favorite. Even had the PS1 video game. Toy Story 3 however was the right way to do a sequel, and it was also very good.
Actually, my age group (those born in the mid-90s) grew up with these movies. I even heard stories about how the people who went to go see Toy Story 3 (now in their teens) were lining up at the theaters just to see their favorite toys one last time
I love 1&3
I teared up when Andy was going off to college because I was leaving for college too and grew up watching the 1st one as a Child.
All of them really, had the first and second on VHS. If I was forced to choose I would probably say the first one because that movie blew me away as a child.
3rd one is my favorite Pixar film of all time so that one, but now that I'm older I definitely appreciate the 2nd movie a lot more than I use to. I definitely don't hold the entire trilogy in quite the high regard that many do it seems. I didn't really get the love of the previous films until after the third came out and I started rewatching the other two. The second one is quite emotional, and I believe the first gets a lot of love for being the first film to really have that sort of animation just not from me.
