Street cleaner/binman: What do you think about those jobs?

No matter what one usually thinks about those jobs, I find them very attractive. Not only financially, I find those occupations on principle attractive. I would say, they are dream jobs for me.

Can you understand that? Would they be something for you? What would you prefer between street cleaner and binman?

If you are a street cleaner or a refuse collector, I would be happy to read you (especially private).

PS: The question is SERIOUS. You can ABSTAIN from "fun".

I'd prefer Garbage Man because here in the U.S. they are paid top dollar and have excellent benefits.

It isn't an attractive job for me, but more power to you.

Garbage Man is a decent profession. A little messy yes but it's decent work and the pay and benefits is usually pretty good. It's certainly not bad work.

Which 1st round are you most excited for?

Spurs/Clippers no question. That's a Western Finals worthy matchup right there.

Hey if you like doing it I say go for it. I don't know much about it, but I like something that challenges my brain a bit more than that which is why I do IT work. That being said it's a job that I fully recognize needs to be done.

Rather be one of those as one of those Mcdonalds or starbucks hippies

I wouldn't want to be a street cleaner or a garbage man as an actual JOB, because that carries too much responsibility. But I'll be damned if I wouldn't like to have access to people's trash. People throw away some AMAZING shit. I would love if I got someone else to lay everyone's trash on a conveyor belt, while I just sit there watching it all go by and then collect the stuff that I can use. This is especially true if you're an artist. You can make some fucking AWESOME art out of people's garbage. There's a reason why there's a big photography cliche of people shooting in junkyards and decaying buildings. Garbage and trash can be really fucking cool.
