Yeah, I kinda noticed that. That's sad.[QUOTE="Sajedene"][QUOTE="Luncbox1"] many of them just like rebelling against what's popular for the sake of rebelling against what's popular. Many of them aren't popular themselves, and so they try and consider themselves "above the rest of us" by dismissing popular things as "silly" things. That's been my experience. Marka1700
Or maybe their just not interested, maybe they don't have time.
You don't have time for Facebook, but you have time for GS. Don't make bad excuses.___________ is I thought the snow was finally over?trav_haveYou know you can delete the "is" so it doesn't come out sounding weird :P
Yes, I have a Facebook.
I just updated my status about an hour ago... "Brie doesn't particularly like gerunds and gerundives."
I updated it to that because I have to translate a bunch of sentences from Latin to English that include these two annoying forms of grammar: gerunds and gerundives.
[QUOTE="I_pWnzz_YoU"][QUOTE="Scott_Malkinson"]I don't use Facebook. Then again, I'm not a pre-pubescent dork seeking an online relationship.JandurinHmm, interesting... Yeah. It's funny how it actually seems like the more "popular" people are the ones who have to have facebooks and things. Having a bunch of people you don't even know personally on a site like Facebook hardly makes you "popular". Let me guess, you probably consider yourself a "cool kid" too.

Well it is true after all :P I am an adult. I socialize with other adults in adult settings. I'm not some pathetic teenager who can only make friends over the internet. Maybe when you grow up you will know what I mean.

Now that so many millions have swarmed in this how unique is it? Again unique in some people's perspectives. Unlike Myspace, its pretty hard to add someone on facebook you don't know. Celebrities usually have their actual facebook on private and instead have fan pages.
I personally know everyone I am friends with on facebook.
And by definition, yes, I am part of the popular/cool kids in school.

Actually, I meant "actually" popular people, smart guy. And, yes, I consider myself a cool guy. If you'd read my previous posts, you'd know that I barely even visit the site. But my girlfriend's "popular" friends ALL have facebooks. All of them. Every last one.

There are not so many people on GS as there are on Facebook. If I had an account on Facebook I would run the risk of being recognised by former and despised c|ass mates. Here nobody knows me in person.

Just don't accept them as friends if they try to contact you. And it's also much easier to keep in contact with friends and organize parties.[QUOTE="Teenaged"][QUOTE="I_pWnzz_YoU"]Then why are you on GS? :o

So you don't want to get in touch with your old friends from school? Weird.

It is weird. But I never really made any real friends in my school and I know I wasn't very likeable to them. I don't know if its the norm in the town I lived in, but people would treat you like friends and then backstab you. I wasn't into making fake friends so I didn't hang out with anyone excpet a couple of people whom I didn't consider friends anyway. I've also seen it happen multiple times to others other than me.
