@horgen: Yes but I don't really believe that bank robber is an actual promotion rank. I know that in one of them ( don't remember which) lets you plan a robbery through one of those random popup things.

I should really check in on the Sims 4. I played the first and then very quickly the 2nd one (didn't own, but played a bit through friends and such).... but yeah, the Sims 2 came out in 2004, that was like 15 or so years ago already...

Was it the first one that had these wood gnomes you could make and sell, and live off that instead of working?

Haha, yeah. That was a complete surprise to me when I saw that you could actually not have a job and still live as a Sim...I guess the Sims is closer to real life than we thought. I think a friend or something showed me that trick.

It was quick and easy if I remember.

Couldn't compete with most jobs after 4-5 promotions if I remember correctly, however your character had more free time.

E3 2020 gets shutdown, NBA season gets suspended, AD goes to another team in FA, & the Lakers left in ruins with nothing to show for!

@horgen: I'm starting a new job next week and it's been scheduled and booked for me to visit the capital city on Monday for a couple of days in order to meet the engineering team I'll be collaborating with. I'm probably going to call them and cancel it...

Excellent timing. One of the managers just called me and announced that the trip will be postponed. I will just do some video calls from the office. That's a relief.

I can't do home office. Lab work isn't exactly compatible with that. So tomorrow and next week we will be maybe 20 out of 170 people showing up at work.

At least lab workers are already dressed for a pandemic so that's something. :P

We joke about leaving work in our work attire. :P

We also got plenty of hazmat suits available.
