predator franchise or alien franchise

Alien is better than all the Predators movies I have seen and its subsequent Alien sequels.

as much as i love Predator as a character i have to admit that Alien franchise is far better in the cinematic sense.

Both are great franchises that have been butchered with the past several movies and crossovers.. I am always mystified how hollywood could fvck up two of the best sci-fi franchises out there so badly.

Alien franchise, by miles and miles.

Alien franchise but I really like the Predator movies too (not AvP mind you).

This isn't even fair since there's only one Predator film that's actually good lol.

Aliens is way better.

The first three Alien films were better than the first two Predator films (though I still enjoyed them). But I'd say Alien took a nosedive first with Resurrection, the both went into awful phase with the AVP movies. Since then Predators (2010) was able to somewhat pull itself out of the muck that both franchises have been in over the years, but the Alien franchise has yet to do so. Anyhow, I like both a lot, but I like Aliens a little more.

My vote goes to the Alien franchise because it has much more interesting lore.

Love'em both so I vote both films. This also includes AVP films.

I thought the predator was better to be honest.

Both of them are good. But I liked predator more.
