Which of these action stars is a better actor?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
yeah those are horrible actors. Though I don't even know why Van Damme is even on the list. He's the worst of the horrible actors and does not even measure up to the rest of the horrible actors.
After watching JCVD, I'd have to say that Van Damme is probably the best.
Edit - missed Sylvester the first time, he is capable of putting on a solid performance when he needs too.
Where is the option for none of the above?

Ask GS to increase the number of choices for POLLS in the site recommendation section, 5 is the limit.
Arnold's in Terminator and Predator. He wins.JML897
Was that really acting or a bunch of one-liners and lots of "Oawuuuuh, aaaagh, argh! Get dowwwwn, git to dee chappah!"

Maybe that wasn't great acting, but compared to the other 4 guys....Arnold wins.
Yes, Van Damme's performance seems to have drastically improved for the past couple of years. After watching JCVD, I'd have to say that Van Damme is probably the best.

I've heard that he was great in JCVD, but I also heard that all he's doing is playing himself.
That is why he wins this one. :roll:super_mario_128
I guess I never really thought of it that way :P

Personally I voted for Stallone over Arnie, at least he has never been in a Batman movie (Mr. Freeze) and said things like "Ice to meet you!", "Chill out bird boy", and "Cool party".

I'm surprised he even did good playing himself. He's that bad an actor lol.[QUOTE="10thwonder"]

That movie and Batman Forever don't exist :x
Denial....it is a sad sad thing :P
Lack of Bale is saddening.

He's new to the action scene, I chose seasoned veterans, very seasoned :P
Stallone is awesome, but he's not that much of just an action guy. In Rocky (excellent movie) they only have one or two fights per movie. However, he is an awesome Rambo.
Edit: One more reason Stallone is awesome: In Rocky Balboa, to truly replicate a real fight, he actually allowed himself to get punched by the pro boxer he was up against in the movie. And this man is sixty years old! I truly admire him for that.
I have the JCVD movie in my Netflix instant queue on my 360, but have been putting off watching it, I might watch it tonight seeing as many people say it is his best work.
dunno, but Chan and Segal get my vote for worst.

I'd have to agree, but I think Jackie Chan isn't that bad when he acts in his own language.
Definitely Stallone. He does more than just action, have you seen Rocky? It's more than just one long boxing match.
I can't believe Jackie Chan is in the lead, I think people think this is a "Who is the better martial artist" poll :P
Jackie Chan is a good comedy actorToriko42
But that's about it, I can't remember the last time Jackie Chan made me get teary-eyed because of his acting in an emotional scene.
