Personally I prefer PC. My cousin has a MAC and I just don't like the way it's set up because I'm used to a PC.

PC. I game on it, and even when MAC gets steam, everyone will still stick to windows. I might start using Ubuntu on my laptop though.

PC. It's like the Erector Set you had as a kid, it can be daunting, it's hard to work with sometimes, you can make something that will fail over and over, but when you get it right, boy, the end result is wonderful.

Macs are like Lincoln Logs ....

I have both a Mac and PC.

I prefer my Macbook Pro over my other laptop though.

Personal computers offer more tweaking capability than a Mac does but that is merely my personal reason for choosing the PC over Mac. A generally reasonable choice would be a PC simply because you can get a more powerful system for a dramatically cheaper price.

PC. Don't get me wrong, Macs aren't bad, they're just horrible value for money. I'm sure if I had thousands of dollars to spend on a computer, a max spec Mac Pro would probably interest me as much as an awesome PC would. However, because I don't have that much money to spend on a single purchase, I can get a higher spec PC for the same money.

I have far more freedom when upgrading my PC or building a new one. With a Mac I would be very limited and I'd also be completely broke.

That might get the best of the Mac world, but certainly not the best of the PC world. You might be able to use Windows, but that's only part of the PC equation (the other part being customizability and upgradeability). Boot Camp doesn't give you that.

Quite right. The only thing I've been using Boot Camp (actually, I prefer Parallels) for is gaming...And now that Steam is coming for the Mac that renders that point pretty much moot now.

MAC's aren't very fast... That, and I believe that the PC is much more customizable than the MAC. As in, you can get system upgrades and etc... Also, the MAC has the most inconvenient places for buttons and plug-ins. I know you're trying to be fancy and all, but keep the On/Off button someplace visible at first glance.

Or it's the only button on the back left of an iMac...Or on the front of the Mac Pro tower... To be fair, I don't know where it is on the Mini since I don't have one.

For the same price i paid for the pc in my sig (roughly 1400$, i live in DK, so everything is expensive), i could have gotten an imac with a geforce 9500, 2gb of ddr 2 ram and an intel duo 2.5

Do i REALLY need to further explain why i find macs obsolete?

It's at the back on the right, above the power cable. I really want a Mac Mini too.

Macs are PCs people get over it. Mac OS is what i would call a 1500$ copy of linux
