I think we should consider the possibility of it being the result of some alien activity on our planet.
Cant rule that out, now can we....

Its only nature if I would put my best guess. Some things that are said are not literal, you know.
Oh! A fellow naturalist. :D[QUOTE="kendouken"]Is is just us (humanity) or are calamities occurring much more than usual? I would usually say Global Warming or its nature, but I think its just as humans screwing up the world.worlock77
And how would we be causing shifts in the Earth's crust?

Giant robot moles.My god....
actually the earthquake in virginia was strong enough to make one of the 2 buildings i go to for community college unusableIf a 5.6 is the largest they've had, they've been lucky. This quake is right up there with the Virginia quake and those poor tipped over lawn chairs.

I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Seismic activity occurs because of movements of tectonic plates along the Mantle. Mines and oil wells don't go that deep.
I live in Oklahoma and felt it pretty good. There was a 4.7 quake Friday night too, but I was already asleep when that one hit. I was sitting up on a cabinet talking to my mom when the quake hit last night though, and it felt like I was sitting on a washing machine for about a minute.
Beat you to it. *shakes fist* You are clearly part of the NWO and are reading my mind.[QUOTE="majoras_wrath"]Clearly aliens. Why is this even being debated?Teenaged

I think their luck is balanced out by all the giant tornadoes they get.
