Would socialistic countries be considered "liberal" or are they further left than "liberal"?

Sweden or Norway would be the most liberal nation on that list.

I am from Canada and have a brain.

OP is just from Canada.

We aren't even in the top 5 on that list, assuming one is using a mix of social and economic measures for liberal.

Also, as someone has already pointed out, we likely aren't even using common understanding of the word liberal in this thread.

That's why US has a higher quality of living index than New Zealand, the most liberal country?

NZ is not the most liberal country. It's not even in the top 10. Another head-scratcher from you...

You're looking at old data. SPI rated NZ as first in 2014 (sauce) and fifith in 2015(sauce). Either way, Finland, Iceland and Netherland all beat US in the SPI but US are rated higher than those three countries (4 if you're counting NZ) in OECD quality of life index. So your sure thing actually isn't.

Thanks for the update. Looks good! Now we know why NZ beats the U.S. in education, health care ranking, safety, life span, income inequality, and also why it has a smaller debt to gdp ratio. Go, NZ!

Look again, NZ is tied with US in education. All things equal US still beat NZ in overall quality of life index. So much for your theory. Just can't admit you're wrong even when faced with the facts huh? Typical.

You don't understand the word theory. You keep using it when it is not appropriate.

Crime NZ < US.

Healthcare NZ > US

Cost of living NZ < US

Looks like the only thing the US has going for it is purchasing power.
