Michael Jackson. Seems way more unique but at the same time, easier to relate to. I don't know how, it's inexplicable.

You relate to a pedophile?

No, absolutely not. In the sense that he came from humble beginnings and pushed through his hard life, like a crusader. His dad was apparently really rough on him as a kid, and I can kind of attribute that to my own life in regards to me being pushed around, ostracized, spat on and beaten up like the pathetic worm that I am. Despite all the circumstances though, I'm still alive today, even though I want to kill myself everyday. I came to this forum in hopes that I can find like minded people that are struggling with the everyday problems that this god forsaken planet has to offer, and we can all support eachother. Pedophilia is wrong, by the way. I absolutely agree with everybody's opinions on it.

He was found not guilty by the courts, which makes what you just said, totally false. Making yourself look ignorant and a little foolish.

Ignorant is thinking a guy who liked to have young boys in his bed (which is not disputed) isn't a pedo. Also he was found not guilty of child molestation. Not from being a pedo.

Why are you so convinced he was guilty of such things? It almost makes me think that you actually want him to be guilty so you can give him a hard time for it, which in a way makes you sadistic.

Personally, I think the man truly believed he was still a child. I agree that having kids sleep in his bed sounds more than odd. I completely understand why anyone would raise an eyebrow, as would I, but I believe he considered it as innocent as a sleepover. I do not believe he was guilty.

If you actually read into it a little, His bedroom was 2 storys big, he didn't sleep in the same bed as the children. The parents gave permission and were present in the house. Not to mention, the kid who claimed he was molested couldn't keep his story straight and changed his story on multiple occasions. A lot of people believe that he was presuaded to do this by his father for a court settlement. It's also worth noting the kid, now an adult refuses to speak to his father.

I didn't say he slept with them. I said he would be in bed with them. Even if nothing is going on, it's creepy.

Aw don't worry about it, it's okay. :) The best thing I can do is try to be open and friendly with people in spite of who I am. I think that you always have to make do with who you are and what you have until the day you break, die or fade away. Anyway, it's natural for people to feel like that. I don't hate anybody for it and I don't think anybody deserves to be treated badly and so I will welcome with any treatment I receive with open arms.

Mj is better in every way. Elvis (and pretty much everyone from that era) sucks.
#34 Posted by Cloud_Insurance (3279 posts) -

Elvis much better and more influential. Also not a pedo.

#35 Posted by The__Kraken (858 posts) -

Elvis, a 24 year old that dated (and potentially had intercourse with) a 14 year old girl; or MJ, an older man that was "fascinated" by prepubescent kids....

Difficult choice, that.

#36 Posted by Toph_Girl250 (48560 posts) -
I'd have to go with Elvis, most of Michael Jackson's music is not of my taste, its not that I don't like them, they're just far from my favorites.

Alright...can I relate to a pedophile? Yes. I once found out that one of my friends was a pedophile, and I certainly had no problem relating to him before I found out about the whole pedophile thing. I once worked with a dude and related pretty well with him. He seemed pretty cool, I gave him rides to places sometimes. Later on I found out that he murdered one of my coworkers by barging into her mom's house with some homies in an attempt to steal the mom's drugs and money. The girl just happened to be in the wrong place and the wrong time, so the invaders beat her to death because she happened to be home during the robbery. I'm not a dictator and a mass murderer, but I hear that Saddam Hussein liked porn. We could probably have a discussion about that, until he starts talking about the more sick and depraved stuff that a dictator is prone to have access to. At which point I'd be like, "woah, buddy, this is a little bit too extreme for me. I'm gonna leave now, no offense." I can relate to all sorts of people, because even sick-ass-f***s share theexperience of being human. For all I know, you people on Gamespot might be pedophiles or rapists or murderers, but I still get along with you and relate to (some of) your problems and experiences.

Right... It's not like OJ Simpson committed any crimes he was found not guilty of or anything...

They were both great performers, leagues ahead of the popular musicians we have today. I'd have to choose Michael Jackson, he was just unbelievable in his prime.

I don't care if you like Elvis more then MJ, but to say MJ had no talent is just dumb.
#43 Posted by NoAssKicker47 (2847 posts) -

I voted for Michael Jackson, only because I think it's hard to match the guy's abilities on stage. He had a groove and insane choreography.

That said, Elvis had his groove as well, and could move like a badass too. All in all, I think it's hard to compare as Elvis was more about country/rock 'n' roll and Michael Jackson all about the pop. Still, if you told me I should now listen to one, I'd go with Jackson.

You know if you investigate the case thoroughly you would know that the woman who made the claims about her son being molested had made false claims in past about similar things.
