I hate them. Theres one in my tech class, and he's a **** idiot. We had an argument earlier on in the year, how Linux is better then Mac, and I told him how Linux is superior and how Windows XP is equal to Mac. I schooled him, but he denied everything I said and told me "you don't know anything about computers". I overheard him arguing with another classmate this afternoon, and the other classmate said "Windows is better for gaming"....this kid says "Macs has way better games, plus I saw in the store Call of duty 3".....Stupidest thing I've ever heard in a month. I kept my cool, and I didn't feel like bumping into a conversation. This kid is the same kid who said he has a PC with two dual core processors in it and 4 gb, and he said his Mac is faster.... I'd rather use windows ME then a Mac. The Macs I used at my school froze like crazy and had many many problems. The ME I had froze rarely, and wasn't that slow. Use ***ing god damn Linux if you want a word processor or browse the internet only. A billion times better then a Mac, plus IT'S FREE. There are actually more games compatible with Linux then Mac. I also want to kill this kid because he's one of those freckly chubby kids whose an ass like Cartman except not funny at all. Spoilt, he's got a 30 gb media player and he has a few songs on it, and PLUS A MONSTER PC and he doesn't even game on it! Actually I doubt he does because he absolutley knows nothing about it....
Fanboys annoy me too. I don't mind nor care what software/hardware/etc other people use, I just don't like them shoving it in my face. I'm probably guilty of doing this myself at some points, but I try not to.
Macs are for people who don't know how to use PCs. That also means a lot of companies don't even bother making their products because they know it is a huge waste of money. The only people I have seen use a Mac are business people which makes me wonder why that don't know how to use a PC. It is so simple and these people can't use them...

This kid has a big anger problem when people prove him wrong. When I first met him in my tech class, he grabbed my Zen V and told me his dad has it, and threw it on the table. It slid and almost went off it. I asked him why he through it, and he said "it's already in bad shape, so it doesn't matter if I broke it"...the kids basically now my enemy. All I've done is shown him how he's wrong about something, actually alot of times.

Believe it or not, Photoshop exists for PC as well. But then there's also GIMP and a ton of other free alternatives. Apple should die for making iTunes.

Hehe, yeah, there are some people like that - I used to get irritated with them as well, but I gave up because I realized they are hopeless dorks. ;) I'm a GNU/Linux guy, although I don't feel the need to make computers and OS:es into religions. I use Windows XP also, and I'm not a huge fan of Mac computers, but I feel more at home using their OS. ;)

Apple should die for making Quicktime I always found quicktime annoying, if I had it playing something in my browser, it would make the browser crash if I had it paused for too long. And it kept installing duplicates of itself, which Opera doesn't like and can cause it to crash.
Incidentally, RealPlayer kept crashing after being paused for too long as well.

Macs are "meh" to me. Windows is not that special either. Neither is Linux. I use Windows for gaming, and I would use Linux (if I had another PC) for word processor, and downloading music and movies in a totaly legal way.
I don't see what the big deal is with Macs, besides having all that power (which means nothing to me, since there are like no games for the Mac) and being easy to use.
Perhaps I am merely uneducated about their usefulness.

This kid (a big douche bag) started with that and the funnest part at the end was when I said "I cant wait for vista and 360 live so I can kick your ass with my mouse and keybord(we had some words about the better method of controls to). So he says "the 360 is allready out!" Yeah let that sit for a while, kinda makes me wanna live back in the midle of nowhere washinton.Â

It's obvious, as with sports or any other form of competition, if PC wasn't at the top and wasn't actually better than MAC, MAC users wouldn't be so defensive when it comes to which is better. Kind of how in the past a lot of baseball fans hated the Yankees, and around March Madness everyone hated Duke.
