I was reading the John Constantine, Hellblazer: Original Sins but I got so bored of the stories and of the main character that I threw back on the shelf. I plan to trade it in, and hopefully be able to pick the Original TMNT collection as I am a big fan of 2003 Tv Show. Aside from the bloody sequences, the show and original comics are pretty similar so I know I'll enjoy it.

I also started my independent study class and have started their thick introducing course. It's easy reading so I'm hoping to fly by it this month and following month.

I'm thinking about reading Fahrenheit 451, as I bought that awhile back, but have only read up to the first chapter. Now I'm thinking of spending a couple days reading it as it is getting boring around here. (And hot!)

So what books, novels, comics, magazine, or other forms of literature are you reading/planning to read through the month of July?

Recently finished 'The Long Earth' by Terry Pratchett & Stephen Baxter. Fun, imaginative, light sci-fi. Character development was pretty weak but I plan on buying the next book in the series. Currently reading 'H.P. Lovecraft The Complete Fiction'.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Partway through and can't tell if the guy killed his wife or not yet. I'm thinking he does, but there are enough blatant suggestions that he did to suggest maybe he didn't and it's all an elaborate ruse to trick the reader. That or the guy is a schizo or has MPD.

I'm going to read Ender's Game, read it several years back but want to read the other books in the series, figured I'd give the first book a re-read just as a refresher.

'Second World', by Jeremy Robinson. Excellent read. About Nazis releasing deadly toxins in the air and killing people who inhale it. Their plan is to take over the current day world after wiping everyone out, but only a few people stand in their way...

I really love the film The Ghost Writer so I'm interested in reading the book. Bought the Kindle version yesterday and will dive into it really soon.

I've recently started reading Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. Its proving to be an enlightening and quite the spiritual read. Credit goes to @alim298 for recommending the novel a while ago.

Unfortunately though I got sidetracked by a couple of things lately and Ramadan is not helping either. Will probably wait for a while and start it over.

I'm reading, Words of Radiance, book two of The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. The first one was fantastic and this one seems equally as good, so far anyways.

I am currently reading The Hunger Games. First time. It's alright. I like it so far, but not enough to say that it makes me hope to get to read its sequels someday.

I really want to start reading the Rangers Apprentice series. Looks interesting.

Started reading A Game Of Thrones. Feels like I am reading the script of the TV show.

Is that good or bad, or neutral?

I have recently finished watching season 1 of the show, and I was hoping to start reading the books as well...

Well I guess I haven't reached that hate-for-Gerrard part yet , as I'm reading through chapter 3.Basically the book is really interesting because you now know what's been going on behind the curtains all these years , and the lovely way in which he puts it just adds up to the fun.

So far I've loved this statement of his the most ; apparently he'd said that to one his drinking players' mother ,who wouldn't accept that her son had drunk :"Every mother thinks the sun shines out of their son's backside" .The statement perfectly applies to my mother.

The book of San Michele (I've already seen Capri, but this summer I might actually go again and take the time to go up to San Michele), Software Engineering Techniques (for my finals and upcoming job) and The Amazing Spider-Man comic books because I always loved Spider-Man and always wanted to read his full story (weren't available in my country and I'm pretty sure they're very rare now as well).

How's this for a wide range of titles?

Blew threw 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: Firestorm' this weekend. Prequel novel to the upcoming film. Poorly written, clearly done in a rush; but interesting and fun to read about what happened to Caesar and his troop immediately following the events of 'Rise'. Also started 'The Long War' which is the follow up to 'The Long Earth' which I mentioned earlier in this thread.

I got done with All You Need Is Kill last Sunday, it I started it a while back and read most of it right off, then got lazy and didn't finish it until a few days ago. Was going to read Ender's Game but instead started reading something else...

Koko Takes A Holiday, found it in the new release section at the bookstore. Some kind of sci-fi cyberpunk action novel and I was pleasantly surprised. I can see this making a great action flick one day. It has a certain quality I can't put my finger on, but it's a real entertaining page turner. Part of it that makes it so easy to read is the pacing, it reads almost like watching a movie at time, careful and calculated pacing. It never feels like a chore to read at times, everything flows smoothly. I love many of the themes in the book's world. I'll probably finish it tonight or tomorrow, but at this point I'm highly recommend it. It's not deep by any stretch but it is very entertaining.

Nothing. I haven't been in a reading mood for quite some time. I have so many books to read... almost as many as games.

I've bought and read some comics lately (exclusively New 52 stuff), but I wouldn't really consider that reading.

Hyrule Historia, got it for my birthday. Pretty cool book.

I haven't had a chance to read a good novel or short story in a long time, so much of my reading time is spent in textbooks it's absurd.

Killed my last book in just a few days, went and bought another sci-fi book about space mercenaries, Fortune's Pawn by Rachel Bach. It's part of a short series so if I like it then there's more to read.
