is there ever gonna be an Eragon sequel?

thats prolly why i sort of enjoyed the movie cause i didnt read the books,its like when i read all the harry potter books and some of the movies pulled it off and the others failed big time (half blood prince) for instance.

Yeah I don't think it garnered a lot of love at the box office.

Nor did it receive a lot of love from the book lovers. They flayed it for not even trying to maintain the book's story.

The first Harry Potter movie wasn't a classic, but by comparison it was Shakespeare. At least HP was a fun movie and followed the book pretty well.

I hope not. The movie was horrible and they took so much out I don't think they could make a good sequel.

No, I believe the movie was fantastically meh and didn't do too hot at the box office.
