Is it alright for a 19 year old guy to date a 15 year old girl?

I was at a party lastnight (I'm 19 btw) and there were some high school girls there. OMG, seriously, they were so damn hot. I'm not even joking. They were way too young to be dressed the way they were, but damn, they could pull it off. Anyway, when I tried to talk to a few, they were extremely immature and very annoying. I felt weird, old and dirty. It kinda sucked. I guess it's a good thing though, considering now I know that I wouldn't like dating someone that age. Unless they were more mature.

I guess it really just depends on the maturity level of the person. Age really has nothing to do with it. Although, not everyone thinks this way. Not too long ago, I asked this girl for her number and she gave it to me, ect. When she found out I was 19 (she was 20), she suddenly became uninterested and we stopped seeing eachother shortly after. It sucked.

That whole show TCAP is a farce. A set-up. An act. Those "pedophiles" are likely paid actors and they that show together for entertainment. It's a bunch of guys going to the same house where they start to talk to a girl who is actually 18 anyway, and she leaves and Chris comes in or either he comes in and she just scoots out behind him. Real pedophiles are out actually molesting children. That show is thrown together so people can get jollies from hearing Chris say, "Why don't you have a seat over there?" and "There's something I gotta tell you: I'm Chris Hansen..".

well thats legal in Canada. Age of consent is 16 while 14 and 15 is legal if the other is less than five years older. Plus I mean they're both teenagers. I'd hate to see what some of you think of 25 year olds dating a 15 year old.

Technically, any intimacy between the two would be statutory rape. Most of the time there is a big maturity difference and a vulnerability of the 15 year old girl that makes it an issue. Although, a 4 year age difference is not that much, its more of an issue at that age because developmentally, the difference is actually much larger.

Well if they just date then fine, but if they have sex its considered statutory rape by most state laws in the U.S. I don't really care personally unless it pertains to me. If it was my son or daughter I would say that its not appropriate and stop it right there. Unless I knew the family and he/she was a respectable individual that wouldn't do anything really stupid to my kid. It would depend on the circumstances. You would think the social stigma would be enough to shun this sort of thing, but it still happens. Whatever.

Not really. 16 is fine, because that's the age of consent. People get suspicious if a 19 year old is dating a girl younger than the age of consent.
