I'm still trying to do better, next time should be it.(Sadly I will have to wait until May). 4

I only took it once cuz I knew I was going to a JC and just wanted to take it out of curiosity. I got a 2100 though so I had a boost in confidence for about a week.
What kinda tests are they? horgen123Tests that colleges like to look at when looking to accept students.
I got a 1540 (old 1600 scale) on my first SATs and a 34 on the ACT; saw no need to take either againxaos
Sure you did.

Standardized tests, and like the other user said... Used by universities in the US/Canada (at least I think it is used in Canada) for admitting students...

I sure did; took multiple practice exams for each beforehand to get an idea of what to expect, but standardized tests were always a strength of mine in high school. Got pretty good financial aid out of the whole thing, so that I left school with pretty low debt1 time each ...1980 on the sat and 30 on act...didnt really feel the need to take either again...that and mixed with my b+/a- grades...didnt really have a problem gettin accepted anywhere
Took the ACT once and got a 34 (which is apparently the top 1%?). I didn't see the need for the SAT after a score like that.

My scholarships were only going to be good for 4 years and I didn't want to take on out of state tuition rate loans to bridge the gap. In hindsight, I wish I had, though :(
I took the SAT once, was happy with my score, and then I was accepted into the college I wanted to go to, so I saw no need to take it again. I've never taken the ACT.
I only took it once and after that I just decided to go to community college. That test was way too long for my liking. -___-
Got a 1400 or so my first time :D This is back when it was out of 1600, mind you. I was good after that. I think I got like a 21 on my ACT but iirc California schools do not really use that.
The thing is two of the colleges I want to go to have a minimum SAT cap. I have exceeded the Critical reading requirement, but I am still below in the math portion(I just needed 10 more points last time). Anyway the deadline is June 1, so I will have to reach my goal on the test in May. On the 26th of that month hopefully I will have met the requirement. The funny thing is my GPA is great, and my regular math class grades have all been great. It sucks when you don't test well though  .
