To those who saw the premiere,

What did you think? Personally, I thought it was incredible. Haven't been this excited about a new show in a long, long time. Can't wait to see tomorrow's episode.

Dull, boring and generic, felt like I've seen and read this story many times before.

I liked the opening scene and most actors, so I'll keep watching.

I don't think they could cast a twelve-year-old for her role for various legal reasons. :P

I'm just saying they could casted an actress that was really skinny and looked very young, not 24.

That was just one I immediately thought of.

Are you serious? His whole attitude towards people/life is because of him being a midget or as he called himself in the books a dwarf.

I thought it was good for what they had to work with for the first episode, so many characters need to be introduced and everything, it was a little boring. They did an absolutely amazing job with the atmosphere though, and I look forward to the rest of the series.

The Stark children was one that really stood out to me. Jon and Robb are supposed to be 14 in the book but in the show they're in their mid twenties. Eddard Stark is supposed to be 35 but Sean Bean is in his early fifties now and couldn't pass for a 35 year old. Tyrion is supposed to be in his late twenties but the actor is 42 or something. Jaime and Cersei are in their early thirties but the tv show again is going for much older.

ya i was like k so where is robb and jon and isnt bran supposed to be 8-10 during this part of the series(dont remember)

but i guess it all works out cause i guess they couldnt use a kid for what ends up happening to some of the children. the free cities i think are goin to be really tricky to represent along with dorne, and dragonstone. the rest of the places are typical medivel cities/castles

The Stark kids aren't aged up as much as somebody is saying. Robb and Jon aren't in their mid-twenties. Maybe the actors are, but the age of an actor doesn't(if at all) equal the age of the character. Also Catelyn looks to old. Only complaint. Also Emilia Clarke. :D

I started watching cause of other topic people said it was pretty good. And they were right, im loving so far, awsome cast. But i agree with Argetlam00, too much sex scenes and nudity. I have no problem with it, but halfway throught the episode it was sex scene after sex scene.

I am pleased with the actors chosen for the parts (besides one), they represent the book quite well. I hope the rest of the series stays true to the book and doesn't mess around with the story... It certainly wasn't watered down to the extent I thought it would be, but it totally skipped the sex scene with khal drogo which was understandable yet unfortunate at the same time.

I think the book will be better though, I certainly enjoyed what happened in the first episode more in the book, it has skipped some things that I really liked about a few characters.

I actually thought she was ok, not one of the best though. The one I do not like is daenerys brother (cannot remember his name at the moment lol) I think he looks too wimpy, I mean I know he isn't exactly a brute or anything but hes like an old man.

Anyway I'm looking forward to tonights episode :) I just hope they give arya some attention, judging on the age difference in her and her sister, it looks pretty obvious who will be getting more attention though I think.

to be fair, jon starts growing a beard in the books and robb's facial hair is a key part to the visualization of his character (i cant really say why for spoiler reasons, but i can be specific and stick it in spoiler tags if you want).

I'm really enjoying it though sometimes I wish the episodes were a little longer. I can't decide whether I'm enjoying Camelot or GOT more. As always though the books are better than the show but I'm surprised how well they are following the story.
