From what I've read the huge crowds turning out for it are the 18-20 somethings like myself that grew up on Toy Story.
There was a whole 'Movie/Birthday party' thing going on, but they were quiet, and they didn't bother me.
It was a good mix of kids, teens, and young adults. Every one seemed to enjoy the movie.
If you want few kids go to a latter show.
On a side note today is perfect. Tuesday is reduced price day:P
I am tempted to see Toy story 3 in 3D again, but this time in IMAX (converted theater), would it be worth it to see it again in IMAX 3D anyone.
Yeah, I'm guessing most of the audience is gonna be people who were kids when the first one came out.
Slightly off-topic: If I disliked the first Toy Story, do you think I'll enjoy this one?McJugga....impossible. Toy Story has an irresistible charm so everyone must like it! :x :P I kid, I kid. But yeah, if you didn't like the first, chances are you won't like the 3rd one.
I went on opening day, and yes the amount of parents bringing the 2 year old kids that didnt wanna sit through a whole movie so began crying almost ruined the awesomness of the movie itself.
to be fair though I think most of hte parents were there for themselves and just brought the kids with them :P

thats like not liking puppies, or orphans.
you dont hate orphans do you?
There was quite a few kids when I went. And some of them were LOUD, but for the most part they behaved :P
There was a bunch of kids there and I was surprised because I went to a late showing of it. Also too I had an annoying lil kid behind me that would not shut up and his parents sat there and just let him talk and talk and talk. I wanted to yell shut the ____ up but I had to resist the urge to due to my girlfriend being there with me. Silver_SluggerYou should have thrown popcorn at them

Soda or candy works too. :P
I went at 9 p.m. and there were a lot of adults and their kids, but mostly people who had watched the previous two I suppose. As for the little toddlers, they didn't make any noise during the movie, and in fact, I heard one kid scream out (in a good way), "My toys! My toys!" It seemed like the kid loved the movie. And the most surprising thing; the people beside me, maybe in their mid 20s, they cried at the last moments of the movie, and I shed a little tear too. It was a great movie, doen't matter if there're kids or not, but if there are and they're noisy, well, shut them up in any way and kick them out of the theater. ANy parents who bring babies into the theater must be sued for public noise pollution and movie disturbance!
