So, in about 6 months I get my temporary license (temps) and my dad already has a car set aside for me. It's a 1996 Subaru Impreza Outback. My first question is how hard is it to drive a stick? I know it can't be too hard but I'm curious. Secondly, I know it's a pretty decent car but do you guys have any experience with one or have anything to say about it? My dad takes very good care of his cars so its in better than average shape. I'll update on mileage tomorrow. I appreciate all answers, thanks.

I hope you don't live in the city or anywhere crowded, you'd be cursing left and right.

Driving a stick isn't hard once you learn how, it's the learning that has you swearing a blue streak.

to be honest stick is annoying nowadays, its not hard at all really. its just a hassle, you have to use both feet and both arms. sometimes you just want to relax and cruise.
