[QUOTE="sAndroid17"][QUOTE="Hungry_bunny"]A joke? Far from it. I want to visit it sometimes and the people that are living there seem cool enough. Sure, we mostly only see wild-life shows from there but that doesn't mean that we think that all Australians know how to wrestle alligators. :PHungry_bunny
um...its Crocodiles :P we dont get Alligators, and Crocs are way more Vicious than Alligators !

Are you sure, alligators seem to be smaller and more agile >_> you might be able to handle crocs, but not the alligators :P

nah alligators are really docile. there not very agressive. so im sure they would just sit there if an aussie such as myself would try and wrestle it :D go near a croc and it will try and eat you

[QUOTE="solidte"][QUOTE="sAndroid17"]lol wut? i SEE Kangaroos, its you that should open your eyes lol and you can see them in The Burbs of MelbournesAndroid17

Are you sure your not talking about your dog in your backyard? Is this is a joke? Because seriously I have no idea what your talking about.

um seriously?? freek666 is from Melbourne, and in his post he said there was a Kangaroo as roadkill, so there is obviously Kangaroos in Melbourne. so seriously, get out of your house! you make me ashamed to be an Australian

Hmm...well hes from the Northern Victorian Region (I'm assuming) and I'm from the South Eastern Region which are very far away so mabye, but the south east is the most heavily populated region in Victoria. but I can tell you there are no Kangaroos in either the city or in the Greater Area of Dandenong. Say whatever you want but I'm just going say you must be hallucinating for seeing Kangaroos in Brisbane itself.

Honestly, right now I'm seeing Australia as a bit of a joke, our government is hopelessly incompetent, everything is ridiculously expensive and everyone in this country is so ridiculously laid back they're happy to just let everything go, it annoys the **** out of me!

Also, we went kangaroo bashing the other night cos we ran out of bullets, awesome fun!

i think that two pages worth of argueing whether you can see kangaroos in your backyard or not is making Australia into a joke, atleast on OT.

[QUOTE="mysterylobster"]It's not a joke, just a waste of time. I find it strange that every 10 years or so, America goes Australia Crazy. I remember when we all went mad over Crocodile Dundee, then Yahoo Serious. freek666
I'm Australian and I dont even know what the hell this Yahoo Serious is. Then again some people say I'm "unpatriotic" and I was nicknamed "Australia Hater" in english, so what would I know?

Why would anyone hate Australia? :|

I like Australia, we're like brothers. (I am Canadian) America too, but they're the black sheep. To continue the analogy, we grew up and moved out of our parent's house with a tearful goodbye, on their way out the door they slapped Britain in the face and said "What the f*** you gonna do about it, old man." True stoy...

Actually, the kid just threw a party and it was gatecrashed. Nothing unheard of. What made him special was how he was so callous to the news reporter. He made a good point, he shouldn't apologize for the destruction of property other people caused.
