I don't have any mountains around me but I live in NYC so its an urban jungle, one of the funnest things I do is mountain bike throughout the city, jumping off curbs and ramps.

Anybody else?

Yeah I do! I'm 50/50 urban and off-road. No mountains where I am in the UK but the 2012 Olympic mountain bike track is 5 miles away and the whole area around it has some good hilly bits

@mikehockbourns: It's also against the law. If I even leave the cycling roads and put my bike on a sidewalk there's always a policeman walking towards me =P

I live in Florida so theirs no mountains here just all flat. I tried mountain biking when I went to camp several years ago it's hard I crashed and fell, I scraped my leg and got a concussion luckily I was wearing a helmet, I don't like it.

I use a mountain bike to get back and forth to work if that counts. But I'm not scaling any mountain with it. No mountains to scale here in Chicago that I know of....

I have a hybrid between a mountain bike and a fixed gear tour bike, I ride it for an hour every day.

Yup, live in central Alaska and there's a pretty big mtn biking community here. So many amazing trails. I go out and ride every weekend when the snow melts and there are still trails I haven't been on yet (been here 2 years).
