Do you like the sound of your own voice?

I've always seemed to feel awkward when I hear myself in videos or recordings. I'm not embarrassed, its just weird :?

This was some random video a friend found on the internet. He recognized my voice in it.

I used to dislike my voice, but I'm actually pretty okay with it now. Before I used to get that it was annoying and loud or something, now I've gotten that people actually like it (along with my laugh). So, I can deal with it. It's not the greatest or anything though :P

Some cameras or mics make my voice sound weird and different. Sometimes it sounds good. Other people notice it too and say I sound totally different on the phone.

IRL My voice varies. Sometimes it sounds deep, medium, or in a feminine way. It depends on my mood.

No, it sounds droning and robotic.

Nobody is comfortable with their voice on a recording, I'm pretty sure. Though I do think my voice is pretty awesome, it definitely suits my personality

nope not weird. VERY common. we are accustomed to hearing our voice from our own ears, if it sounds different we dont usually like it. I hate hearing my voice on recordings most the time.

I'm not a fan. Too high pitch and my accent comes out thicker than I would like sometimes.SeraphimGoddess

My natural voice is deep and guttural. I change pitches when talking to different people though.

On recordings I usually sound intensely deep. When I was 13-14 I used to get mistaken for sounding like I was at least 23-24 in online games.

Hmm other people say my voice is/has gotten rather deep. I don't agree but I have no complains about it when I hear it.

If you want bad accents, my sister used to have a hick accent before she went to college and started hanging around the not-stupid people of the South.

Oh gosh no! To me my voice sounds very shrill and too high-pitched but I suppose that matches my somewhat manic hyper-active personality. Like pictures of myself I generally inform people they can record me all they like, provided they never let me hear or see the offending product.

Im fine with the sound of my voice when I hear myself speaking, but I hate my voice on a recording... Sounds terrible,

I have this perpetual narrator voice. I've been told by many they could see me broadcasting the news with it. However, that's all. I tried doing some voice work for this machinima trailer I threw together, I couldn't help like feel like a 'tard everytime I had to drop character lines into it.
