I have UAC enabled, because I wanna know what happens at my computer. It also caught a virus once :P.

To the mods: Sorry if this belongs in another thread.

The "render my PC well-nigh unusable" feature? No, I do not.

Pretty much. The hassle to actual usefulness ratio is way too imbalanced to keep it on.

I keep mine off, i don't like trying to run something and then be asked "Was it you who wanted to run this?" it makes me feel like my PC is mocking me lol. Damn annoying and it won't catch a virus unless you downloaded it, then run it yourself.

I turn it off as soon as I can and leave it off. I am careful of what I install or download.

You just reminded me about that stupid thing and how I want to turn it off. How do I turn it off I forget?

Smart move. But XP support will end in 2014.

Yep. I don't find the Win7 version particularly annoying, and the extra layer of security is worth the (extremely) minor inconvenience.

Yeah, I do, but only because I'm too lazy to figure out how to turn it off. :P
