Yes I've had first hand encounters with ghosts. I grew up an atheist and I've seen things that defy everything I believe in. I moved in with my grandmother 10 years ago after my grandfather died. She lives in a bad neighborhood outside of Detroit and I moved in to help out.
I believe this house is haunted and so does my grandmother. We've both seen things that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. My cousin moved in a couple of years ago and he's seen things too.
The doorbell rings at all times of the day and night just randomly. We had an electrician come and check it out and he couldn't find anything wrong. It happens more at night while we're sleeping then any other time.
Lights and tv's turn on by themselves. One night I was home alone and heard a loud crash in the basement. It scared the living crap out of me. I mean it was really loud. I got the nerve up to go down there. Some metal bed rails that had sat in the corner for years undisturbed fell over and smashed my fishing rods. They were heavy about 30-40lbs each.
One night I walked into kitchen and grabbed something to drink. I came back 5 minutes later and the cabinet doors were open. No one else was home but me.
My cousin was in the computer room alone one night and I was sleeping. He said he felt something touch his shoulder. He turned around and no one was there. He said it freaked him out. I've had it happen to me also except I was in bed when it happened. It felt as though someone had grabbed me.
For years I was always in denial and my grandmother cousin and I always joked about the house being haunted. One night I was laying in bed and couldn't sleep so I got up to go to the bathroom. There was a person standing at the end of the hallway. I literally jumped a foot off the floor and the first thing that came to mind was an intruder. I went into kick ass mode and charged down the hall ready to kick someones ass. I got face to face with a ghost and watched it disappear in front of my eyes.
Theres a lot more to it then this I could go on and on. My grandmother is catholic and thought about having a priest bless the house. My aunt has told us to bring in a psychic. I don't want to do any of this. I just want to ignore it what ever it I don't want to piss it off. For all I know it could turn violent or get worse. I've seen to many horror flicks not to wanna mess with it.
