No, not maybe. It's a terrible comparison. Although you may not agree with the drone attacks or military action and the effects they have on people, it's still MUCH different than specifically targeting a population of civilians in order to induce the highest amount casualties/fear.

This is really shocking.  Same feelings as the Newtown mass shooting.

I really feel this isn't the place to argue, I'll just say they are both deplorable,so I won't. But the death toll of innocent bystanders from the drone strikes has been staggering.

Hope it's just a freak coincidence, but this is BS for them to go through, haven't they suffered enough?

My friend's family goes every year to the Boston Marathon to watch the finish after the Red Sox game. They didn't go this year...

Pretty crazy story. I really hope everyone is okay. I want to know more about the explosion and/or explosives though. 

I live within a day's drive from Boston. I'm watching the news on the boston news stations and I was shocked when I saw that there had been explosions at the marathon.

The eyewitness giving an interview to ESPN right now must have some serious balls talking about how his dad was hurt so badly without crying.

Two friends of mine from my running club here in the UK ran today. They have put on our club FB page that they are ok, but just a terrible thing to happen
