I could load this list up with lots more, but I decided to pick one from each composer.

Not in any particular order, but here are some of my favorite pieces from horror films.
Halloween
Psycho
Phantasm
Phenomena
Suspiria
Deep Red
Hellraiser
The House by the Cemetery
Rosemary's Baby
The Exorcist
A Tale of Two Sisters
Jaws
Friday the 13th
Friday the 13th Part 2

Zombi 2
The Beyond
Sleepaway Camp (Until the words actually come, the first 37 seconds or so is played during the credits of the film)
The Thing
Puppet Master
Kudos for Goblin, Williams, and Herrmann, but I've always thought the Friday the 13th scores kinda sucked.

That's fine, I even love the Friday the 13th Part 3 disco theme, ha ha. It's funny because personally, Manfredini's work with F13 reminds me of Herrmann to a degree, which is understandable since I think I remember reading he was influenced by him. But then again who wasn't influenced by Herrmann?
Non horror wise, Herrmann strikes again with Vertigo. I probably love that score the most of what I've heard from him.
Movie: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, pretty epic.
Video Game: Zelda: Wind Waker - Ancient Hero, had some trouble finding the original so you have to settle with an ocremix >_>

That's just it. Friday the 13th sounds like the work of a third-rate Herrman imitators who doesn't understand the value of subtlety or silence to me. It's suitably cheesy, but I would never consider it good. That said, I really enjoy Friday the 13th for the camp value.

Ah well, it still gives me the chills and sets the mood, or carries the film(s) along and there is definitely nostalgia there for myself. I've watched the first four F13 films roughly a hundred times.
I'm sitting here trying to think of more great horror themes, because I know I've left out a ton.

Where's The Thing? There you go, definitely. I just added that and Puppet Master. Say what you want about the movie, but that is a cla*sic theme. Burnt Offerings has great music, but I can't really find anything on YouTube.
For movies, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. I think my favorite song was not the main theme and all it's variations, but The Ecstasy of Gold.
For games, Jet Set Grind/Radio. Best song was The Concept of Love.
Once Upon a Time in the West has my favorite score ever.
Ennio Morricone is amazing

Metal Gear Solid 2 Main theme
Hyrule Field from Twilight Princess
Shin Onigashima, Super Smash Bros Brawl
The credits from Super Mario Galaxy
The Stone tower Temple from Majora's Mask
