If you were going to have to wear and use an Apple smart watch, what features (reasonable, no time travel or tantalus effect) would you want, what would you want it to do?

I wouldn't want an Apple Smart Watch, or any other one for that matter. I know Samsung's is going to cost $300 and Apple's will probably cost a bucket load aswell for the minor convenience they provide it isn't worth it.
Although I'm really interested in the tech, I don't think I'd wear one. For the simple reason that a watch to me is an accessory/piece of jewelry.
Besides the fact that it has to tell the time, it has to look beautiful. And that smartwatch from samsung is just a very tacky watch.
It wouldn't match with my clothing style.Â
Why would I need a smart watch. If I've already got a phone why do I need something other than a regular watch?ferrari2001LMAO, I know, right? :lol: I sometimes go to a website called SodaHead and they had this smart watch question in it. About 75% of people said they're not interested in it (I voted for that option too), and I said that's what my phone is for.
What is the point of an iwatch? What can it do that a phone can't? If you just want something on your wrist to look at the time, just use regular watch.dramaybazIt's so that, when you get an email/text/call, you can see the sender/context so that you know whether you want to respond to it immediately before committing to the Herculean task of lifting your phone out of your pocket.

Also, if it can do everything your phone can but on a watch it seems pretty convenient,

Also, if it can do everything your phone can but on a watch it seems pretty convenient, I don't think it's really designed to (which is a relief to me, as doing anything substantial on a screen that size would irritate me to no end). It's mostly designed to synch with your phone and act as a companion device.They have a hard sell at their current price/feature set. We'll see how they do.

Yeah, I mean at this point with phones, and smartphones as it is, a watch is really more of a fashion accessory than a device to tell time even, so unless the smart-watch looks good, I don't see much point to it.
My watch goes through a lot of wear and tear, and I rarely remove it. I don't see a smartphone being that durable and I don't want to have to take it off and recharge it every day.
My iphone has all the stuff I need and it's in my pocket. The degree of convinience a smartwatch gives over a phone is so minimal it's not worth it.
@psi_kick: Apple Smart Watch?
Android all ready did it. crApple as usual, is introducing old ideas and is doing nothing revolutionary or innovative.
