Beyblade and Yugioh are still popular? I would've thought those died out, those crappy Disney channel sitcoms would be another though. It's usually portrayed like some tiny situation is the end of life as we know it :|

[QUOTE="PsychoLemons"]And yet we're in a gaming forum filled with people who are teens+ to 40+ who still enjoy FPS.FPS games and lots of it.

Oh the irony...While I'm perfectly fine with legit and sensible FPS players. And then there are those who kill/ruin it, such as kids, who claim to be elite or pro at it, as well as scream as much as they like behind the screen and so on.

How dare they have fun playing an FPS with you.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Swearing, it gets realy overdone and it's getting earlier and earlier for them to swear even in a catholic school.
Our two girls are in college and our son is in high school, so thankfully most of that kid stuff is history now. I just deeply, deeply regret buying our son a speaker system with a subwoofer. I guess I should thank my lucky stars that he at least listens to metal. Terrible metal, but at least it's not rap.

You should setup a boundary on the volume when others are in the house. I used to listen to a lot of hip hop with my dads audio system and not only did every thing sound like a whisper to me afterwards, apparently the walls to my house are thin enough to give the kids on the block a little jump around.

Lucky me and my dad share the same taste in music :)

Whaaaa......?
If anything the kids where I live play outside too much, it's really annoying when it's a really nice day, I want my window open and all I can hear is screaming kids playing. I actually wish they'd stay indoors more. :PMushroomWigexxactly
my biggest problem with kids these days is that most of them have serious over confidence problems.i really dislike most of them, specially the guys.
Being annoyed by other people's tastes or interests is annoying, so I don't do it.

In 30 years, the current generation will be saying the same thing about their kids, with their loud rock and roll music and their make-out parties and things.

I'm really curious how future generations are going to push the envelope when it comes to music. It seems like music's gone as "edgy" as it can possibly go with guys like Tyler the Creator enjoying mainstream success by talking about rape and stabbing people in their esophagus.
Tyler isn't even really mainstream yet, along with the rest of OFWGKTA. The sole reason he's gotten a lot more attention lately is because of the Yonkers video. Now you have all the "stickriders" who claim they like him because they saw that video. Most people still get freaked out by their lyrics when they actually hear what they're saying in some of their songs.
It's hard as hell to find someone who likes OF as much as I do, let alone actually knows who they are. But yea, you have a good point about the "edgy" stuff.
It could be though because most of their fans are in still in High School...
