Kids these days.. Do you have any kids? Nieces or nephews? My nephew is into bleyblade, bokugon, yu-gi-oh, and tai chi chasers. He's 8 years old and can't even ride his bike. He never goes outside to play, just watches T.V. all day. What is up with that? He's got his beyblade toys that he's playing with constantly. I hear it rattling all over the floor. Don't get me started on those bokugon things.

What ever happened to G.I. Joes and TMNT? And IDK, going OUTSIDE to play?

So do you have any kids around that are into annoying things?

I think the whole "this generation's kids don't even go OUTSIDE anymore!" thing is way overstated. I still see lots of kids playing outside in my neighborhood. The local park was always packed during the summer.

If anything the kids where I live play outside too much, it's really annoying when it's a really nice day, I want my window open and all I can hear is screaming kids playing. I actually wish they'd stay indoors more. :P

It really depends on where you live. Some communities are built for going outside while some are not.. but if you see everyone outside and your nephew inside alone that might be another problem =P

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Justin Bieber. That's what comes to mind, anyway. Thankfully my daughter is too young to be really into anything, I'm sure once she is, it'll drive me nuts. but I've got a ton of old stuff prepped, so instead of getting way into Dora I've got the full series of Fraggle Rock (and she already has a stuffed Gobo and Boober that she loves, so I'm one step ahead already).

Your parents were saying the same thing when you were growing up.

In 30 years, the current generation will be saying the same thing about their kids, with their loud rock and roll music and their make-out parties and things.

I'm really curious how future generations are going to push the envelope when it comes to music. It seems like music's gone as "edgy" as it can possibly go with guys like Tyler the Creator enjoying mainstream success by talking about rape and stabbing people in their esophagus.

After 13? I'd throw at least another decade on that. :p People will always complain about how crappy the stuff younger folk are into. The whole "back in my day..." sorta thing. I can guarantee people a bit older complained about the lame stuff you were into.

Even when I was a kid Beyblades were lame. I remember they used to dig holes to have their little battles in. My friend found a spoon in the dirt at school and challenged the Beybladers to a battle. The spoon won and he got suspended.

Lool I remember that too I used Dranzer and that beyblade was just baddass, while most of the beyblades had a plastic point this one had an iron one that was very sharp allowing it to spin faster. The look on the other kid's faces when their beyblades broke had no price...good times. These days I find it annoying that kids are into blackberries, where I live 5th graders own one I mean why would they need one in the first place? :?

Kids these days.. Do you have any kids? Nieces or nephews? My nephew is into bleyblade, bokugon, yu-gi-oh, and tai chi chasers. He's 8 years old and can't even ride his bike. He never goes outside to play, just watches T.V. all day. What is up with that? He's got his beyblade toys that he's playing with constantly. I hear it rattling all over the floor. I'm sorry but is he affecting you in some ways? If not, then you can just leave him alone and mind your own business then.. He's just a kid, let him do what he wants..

Being children.

Everybody likes to think their own annoying habits weren't nearly as bad as the ones kids have today but we were all that annoying little **** at one point or another.

I actually liked beyblade the show when it first started, but the toys were not that popular back then just yugioh and pokemon on gb.

I used to play in Beyblade tournaments when they were a hit all those years ago.

Also used to stake with friends and get cash. I had mine all customized. I did a lot as a kid besides playing toys, more outside stuff and exploring. Kids don't bother me at all, some remind me of myself so I respect that. Kids can feel unwanted and descriminated too, and that feeling sucks. I'd rather make them feel welcome and comfortable, with rules of course.

My neice is 3, sister is 4, younger brother is 6... and my daughter is 7 months.

My brother likes playing video games. But him and my sister are outside more often than not.

I can't really think of things that kids now days are doing that annoy me. I'm not sure what they're into - is the problem. When I was a kid, I played with my GI Joes or rode my bike around or played with my toy cars in the dirt. I never wanted to be inside. My cousins and I would just go walk around, go to the creek, go play catch, ride our bikes/skateboards around.

Once I started getting older, the less I wanted to be outside - I'm blaming the advances in technology for that or atleast the rate at which my knowledge has been increasing. I'm constantly on the comptuer (obviously - I'm on it now, at work). If I'm not on the computer than I'm watching a movie or playing a game on the 360. Unless, of course, I'm spending time with my family.

I think you might be generalizing. Alot of kids go outside to play and also play beyblade I bet. I did when I was a little kid. I'm actually surprised kids still play with those. My little brothers got one.

Hehe, every little kid wants to be a gangster. :P

The funniest thin I ever saw for the 15 years that I've lived in this town was a little kid on a pocket bike pulling up in front of this little girls house. Kid gets off all sly, kicks the stand out and pulls a leg over and walks his little pale wannabe black face up to the girls door, knocks and the girl opens (it gets better) they have their little chat, kid's laying it on thick, lot's of arm movement and gang signs to show he's down and it ends with the girl giggling, closing the door, boy walking back to his pocket bike and it looked like he was trying to mount a horse for the first time and the bike starts to bug out and it's jerking the entire time he's riding back up the street.

Here's the REALLY funny part, this kid was 9.
