Americans: What country would you live in on each continent?

For example, if you had to live in Europe, which country would you live in there? The same goes for Africa, Asia, and South America. You can choose Australia too. 

For me:

Europe: The UK, specifically England, since the US and the UK are culturally similar and speak the same language. I'd have to learn the metric system and get used to driving on the left. There are thousands of American expats living in the UK, as well. Not to mention Britons are probably more friendly toward Americans than the French. 

Asia: This one is difficult. Not only do I have to learn a new language but I'd have to learn a completely different writing system. I'd probably go with Hong Kong since English has official status there, but I'd still have to learn Cantonese to function. Hong Kong has thousands of Western expats, so it's not like I'm gonna be the only white guy within 100 miles. :P I could probably get used to eating Chinese food really quick. 

Africa: South Africa without a doubt. South Africa has the highest HDI on the continent (correct me if I'm wrong) and the only sizable white population in the continent, so I won't be as culture shocked. :P I would have to learn Afrikaans and/or an indigenous African language to get by. 

South America: Brazil or Argentina probably have the highest human and economic development in South America. I've heard that Brazil isn't exactly the most American-friendly place, so learning Brazilian Portuguese and Brazilian culture and maybe naturalizing would be my best shot at not sticking out like a sore thumb, LOL. 

Australia: I don't know, man. The coasts are being flooded by rising sea levels and the middle of the country is a hot desert with about a million things that can kill you. :P 

South America = Brazil (has Rio, what more is there to say?)

Europe = UK (for familarities sake)

Asia = Japan (anime and great food)

Austrailia is both a continent and country so....

Africa= South Africa

Antartica = Anywhere warm I could find :D

Europe: England, I loved being in London

Africa: South Africa

Asia: Japan, I plan on living there in the future or Hong Kong

South America: Brazil, I can work on my Portuguese

Australia: Would not, too many venomous snakes spiders and God knows what else

South America: Chile or Panama.

Europe: Probably the UK.

Asia: Japan or Taiwan. 

Africa: Nowhere, please? :P I guess South Africa...

Australia: Australia.

I believe New Zealand is considered part of the continent of Australia, could be wrong though

Let's see......

On the Europe-Middle East side? Turkey. Specifically, the Antalya Region. My family loved it there. So did I.

Asia-Pacific? Bora Bora

Perth, Australia and New Zealand

That's it. I have no desire to live anywhere else outside of the US-Canada.

NA = USA

Europe = some place in the UK, don't really care which.

South America = I'll just swim to the USA thank you very much

Africa = I'll hike my way to Europe thank you very much

Australia = Australia

Asia = Japan.

I've realized with this post that I don't want to live anywhere but the USA, Canada or Australia.  All three of these are practically the same.  I don't even want to live in the UK - it just seems like such a dreary place.  At least Seattle has a nice city and beautiful forests and mountains.

I visited there recently and they absolutely are.  I found communication tough without being able to speak French though.  There aren't many English speakers.

North America: US

South America: Brazil, large developing nation.Pretty good if your not in the dirt poor social tier.

Africa: South Africa, see above response.

Asia: South Korea, a less restrictive Japan that is more open to foreigners.

Middle East: Israel, most developed in region by far.

Europe: Switzerland or Sweden if I magically knew the language. If not England so I can actually speak to people.

my list has changed over the years.

North America - USA, my country but would also be willing to try out Canada even though they are so cold.

Europe - Would probably have to check out several countries first but probably Germany for their economy. Would also choose Spain as a second choice as I have family there though good luck getting a job =/.

South America - Argentina

Africa - Botswana, don't really know much about Africa but I do have a friend in Botswana.

Asia - South Korea

Middle East - Israel, I've been told I look a little jewish and they seem open to westerners.
