Zelda will most likely be released Holiday 2010 Updated: Cammie Says So

SMG2 May 23rd, Metroid: Other M June 27th. Whats gonna go into Holiday 2010??? Zelda. Thats all there is to it.

Update: Cammie Dunaway basically says Zelda will be released in 2010

There was never any solid reasoning behind it not coming this year in the first place other than "hurr durr Twilight Princess got delayed so this one will too uh"

Nintendo will rule 2010.

I'm sure of that. But Super Mario Galaxy 2 is one of those crossover games. It pleases both hardcore and casuals.

Until yesterday I would have never said Zelda Wii would come out this year, but after the summit I will say that it is very likely. It seems that Pikmin 3 will be Nintendo's big title for 2011.

I guessed that when it was first announced.

I mean the Wii came out in what? 2006 and Its getting its first Zelda game in 2010, thats quite a wait imo!

I totally agree and they have already said it should be released this year.

Ok, now I'm about 60% convinced that Zelda will make it out this year. But I still say that Nintendo is going to show off some kind of big game for the masses more in line with NSMBWii for the holiday in addition to Zelda.Arc2012

of course the other wild card is Pikmin 3, which could conceivably be shown at E3 then released for the Holidays, and I feel like that game has a casual pull

Usually there are 2 big hitters during Christmas break. I think it will be Zelda as well as some game utilizing the Wii Vitality sensor. Probably a "Wii x" franchise (e.g Wii Sports, Fit, Music etc.).

Mario should be may, Metroid August, and Zelda November. That way there is good spacing and everyone would be happy this year.wooooode

I was so sure that it would not come out this year.

...but after the announcement of those coming so soon. I really think it will be out this year. I can still see it coming next year though.

Only reason I really haven't sold my Wii is for a new Zelda game.

I now think it could be likely since Nintendo would need a heavy hitter for the holidays.

I can't see a Zelda this big and epic, this long in development taking more than a month to be released on all regions. I know Nintendo has spaced them out in the past, but we got TP before Japan did. As long as we get Zelda first in NA then its cool.

This will hopefully mean that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will finally get a friggin price drop! £29.35 is too much for a game that launched over three years ago!

No they didn't. They have been wishy washy about it the whole time. Reggie said recently that it might not make it in 2010. There's still reason to be doubtful. So it is news, because I am stating right now it will come out, clearing up any doubt, even though there's a bunch of doubt.

Huh, Spirit Tracks was released last, even after Australia and Europe.

To everyone who thinks that Zelda will not be released let me remind u something. TP was in development for a total of 3 years, 1 year which was the delays. The new zelda has been in development for 4 years with no delays (so far, and most likely never) 4 years is more than enough to make a video game.
