I think that this could be real. And it sounds awesome.

Eiji Aonuma: [laughs] I admit it is rare that share information this early, but I convinced Iwata-san that your writers were trustworthy enough to keep our conversation here confidential until Project Deluge is announced at the expo.
Sounds like something Eiji Aonuma would say.
First screen shot confirmed LOL:
Okay, that link doesn't work for some reason. The interview's here.

a lot of those things would be really cool but I don't think nintendo would make a game like that, thery might change some things but they probably won't change the zelda series so much
I forgot to say nintendo usually doesn't that much information so early, they usually don't reveal so much until the game is about to be released, take the wii and twilight princess as examples

How Popular Is Your Favorite WiiWare Game? Check Out The Top 10
So you're saying Okami is shovelware and Game Party is not?
Yup
Aww man!! I don't want my main character looking like that!!!
If this thing IS real, then on the next SSB series, Link will not come out?!
How very disapointing, but anyway, I'm looking forward to this new game!!
If this would have been a joke, don't you think Nintendo would of said so?
Fake. Its about the flood, so it would be before WW. So they have some kind of industrialised world, but when it all floods it just magically goes back to swords and arrows? Come on people, think! Also, they wouldnt make a Zelda with muskets and the such. I reckon if they were ever going to go into a future setting, it should be in a distant future. Something like Highlander I reckon. And if this turns out to be true, may god have mercy on Nintendo.

FAKE! It's already been posted also. :)
well, this has every reason for being true.
If you remember in windwaker, ganon was sealed up for 100 years until he broke out of the seal.
So, if no hero of time appeared when hyrule was flooded but ganon was still sealed, I think this story makes sense, because ganon would be sealed by the end of valley of the flood, but it would not have been the same hero who would have done it.
plus, it would make sense for hyrule to have technology, because they would have advanced a little in the last 100 years, plus there is steam engines and canons and torpedoes in PH. If our world was flooded, I bet we would lose a lot of our technology too.
so yeah, all this game needs for it to be real is some radical thinking from the zelda team. Either way, im fine with having this game and im fine with having just another zelda.

Your only concern about a hoax is a character not appearing in an unconfirmed game? It's not real, and there probably won't be another Smash Bros. Can't this board go one topic without mentioning Smash Bros?
And why would Nintendo comment on every single rumor? It's small and insignificant. Nintendo doesn't care.

It could be real, but I doubt Aonuma would let it leak so easily, especially to a low-tier website as opposed to IGN, 1up, or Gamespot.

Yeah, considering he just completely gave the game away, its probably not real, no matter how much I would like it.
oh, and if you guys read the whole itnerview, the guy says that the next zelda will be fully orchestrated. WOO HOO!
