your history with nintendo gaming

after seeing the thread about NP's top 20 for each of their consoles, it made me think back to all the ones that i had owned and the great games. so i just wanted to know which were ur favourite games for each nintendo console that u've played or owned. i'll start:

SNES: TMNT turtles in time, super mario world, donkey kong country1/2/3

gameboy: pokemon blue/red/silver

n64: zelda ocarina of time, perfect dark, ken griffey's baseball

gameboy advance: golden sun 1/2, fire emblem 1/2

ds: all the phoenix wright games, castlevania DoS and PoR, FF3, hotel dusk, custom robo arena, mario & luigi PiT

wii: fire emblem RD, SSBB, SMG, Mario kart, GH3, TLOZ:TP, DBZ BT3

NES: Mega Man, Ninja Gaiden, Super Mario Bros, Contra

SNES: Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, A Link to the Past, Mega Man X, Zombies Ate My Neighbors

I was a sega fan growing up... I didnt jump over to nintendo until the 64 but I have just over the past few months been building up a NES collection.

NES - River City Ransom

N64 - Space Station Silicone Valley, OOT

GameCube - Ikaruga

GBA - The Phantasy Star Collection

DS - Puzzle Quest, Animal Crossing

Wii - MLB Power Pros, Zack And Wiki

Same as Platinum: I'm not going to type all the games I love playing. Too many to type, I might as well make a 5,000 word blog on that same topic. *takes into consideration* I'll just limit myself to favorite two for each system.

NES: Super Mario Bros. 3(classic is all I can say), Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers(from memory, possibly the first game I've ever played)

GB: Duck Tales(again, one of the earliest games I remember playing), Mega Man IV(I died alot and never beat a boss when I was four, but I did like it :P )

SNES: Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past(one of my favorites of all time, being the first game I ever beat, at the age of 3), Final Fantasy III(VI)(extremely difficult to choose between this and Super Metroid, though this introduced me forever to RPGs)

Virtual Boy: (Never owned. Only game I've ever played on it was Mario Tennis)

N64: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time(yeah, yeah... typical choice...), Bomberman 64(just fell in love with the Multiplayer and found the adventure somewhat entertaining[and costumes excrutiatingly hard to get])

GBC: Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages(another qualityZelda game that I fell in love with after getting it as achristmas gift), Warioland 3(great platformer, never owned it...)

GBA: Advance Wars(I was questionable with this first, but now it's one of my favorite games I've ever played(also fell in love with Shining Force II a year later)), Golden Sun(yeah, yeah... I'm with many people on this also)

GCN: Super Smash Bros. Melee(again, with the bandwagon, though I had frequent matches with the employees at my local Game Crazy with this game, which were all fun moments),Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles(okay, do not argue with me. I liked this game alot, and actually played through it twice, enjoying the story, which didn't exactly become revealed till the very end)

DS: Advance Wars: Dual Strike(obvious after falling in love with the series), Nintendogs(yet again, don't argue with me. I actually thought the game had an amazing presentation when it released. Played the game everyday for five months until my dog chewed it up(lol?))

Wii: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess(one reason why I wanted the Wii, the rest is about the game itself), Super Mario Galaxy(I only really decided to buy the game for the Commemorative Coin, though I fell in love with the game itself(I already knew it was going to be amazing))

Hard deciding on which were my favorite, but this is why I didn't do more than two for each.... I have to give a reason for every game I list as my favorites.

N64(this is where I became a nintendo follower): Super Mario 64, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time(ahh yes the game that made me fall in love with nintendo) Star Fox 64, Sin And Punishment, Conker's BFD, Perfect Dark, Majoras Mask

Gameboy/GBC: all the Pokemons (Gold/Silver being my favorite), Mario Land, Zelda Oracle of Ages/Time, Outburst, Tetris

DS & Wii: im still making good memories with these guys so comeback after a couple of years

I've owned every Nintendo console/handheld (several in multiples) since the NES. There's waaaaay too many favorites over the last 22+ or whatever years to list so I'll stick to a few obscure favorites that most probably would omit excluding DS & Wii titles as it's a bit too soon to walk down memory lane with them, I'm not claiming these are the best games on their respective platforms (maybe a couple) but some gems I've enjoyed thoroughly.
