When I turn off my Wii console, instead of a red light, the light on the system turns yellow. I usually unplug and then plug the system in again, and it turns red. What does that yellow light mean?

ok, so it means that my mii can go to visit other wiis. But how do i turn it off?

Go to Wii options and cut off Wii Connect 24, but it does absolutely no harm in leaving it on, I got mine the first day it came out and it's stayed on since then with no problems.

In the main menu you'll see a button that says Wii click; then go to system settings; then look for WiiConnect24 (input code if needed); and turn it off; that's it.

It is standby mode, so it can recieve updates and messages even though it is off. (sort of) No need to worry if it gets a little warm. But if it gets hot contact Nintendo.

You don't actually have to turn off Wii connect 24, all you have to do is hold th power button for aproxamitly 4 seconds and it turns red but you can only do this on the wii and not the remote
